In my workplace a lot of the work is independent and repetitive and these videos are great for me, Especially since they last long enough to get me through the lunch. Which makes the day fly. Thanks KCC

Having worked as a Senior Project Manager on large projects for years, most people who are jerks don't last too long. At times there may be few choices when a specialty position is hard to find qualified people to perform. However large egos are pretty common in the industry.

My father many many years ago as a professor at prestigious University in Champaign Urbana Illinois became extremely depressed. He was forced by The Establishment to do this instead of teach like he wanted to. Taking credit for other people's work was just not his cup of tea.

You couldn't make this up, i was once employed by my agency to cover an ending contract, (it had 15 weeks to run). I was a cleaner and the previous cleaner had left for a better job elsewhere. 11 weeks in i needed a day off to take my wife to hospital and the person who covered my position, on out of hours payment, was the same person i was covering because he had left. So he was covering me whilst i was covering him.

With regard to the Air Farce story, and the actual function of Senior NCOs, once upon a time in the Persian Gulf I had occasion to (QUITE by accident) walk past the tail-end of a RATHER POINTED discussion between a junior officer pilot, and his maintenance chief, just in time to hear: "Sir, they may have spent four years turning you into an Officer and a Gentleman who flies my planes, but they DON'T trust you to WORK ON 'EM, now, DO THEY!?! For the sake of that Chief's career, I'm SO glad neither one of those guys knew I was walking behind 'em when THAT pearl of wisdom hit the Hanger Deck!!!

STORY - 10,000 Steps I heard a story of a guy who had divorced and remarried. It turned out that the woman he had divorced, had been seeing a psychiatrist who'd put her on medication. She decided that her husband also had to be medicated and sent him to her Dr.. The psychiatrist told the guy he didn't need anything as he was perfectly normal but he insisted that if he didn't return with a prescription his wife would just send him back. So he was given a prescription. Fast forward to when he'd remarried. His Ex still figured large in his life. But he decided to top taking the medication, this left him an emotional wreck. His new spouse said no and quickly divorced him as she felt she'd been lied to and couldn't trust him. What a doormat! His Ex was continuing to F up his life. This Ex and his lack of spine put his life and mental health at risk by insisting if she had to take pills then he had to also. What I don't understand is why he actually took them rather than pretending to and just flushing them when he attended to his ablutions. Personally I'd left her BCC butt. BCC = batcrap crazy.

I worked in one of the biggest banks in Australia and home loans were the majority of our profit. My branch had over $200 million in loans. Banks do get annoyed by home loans, but they also really need them.

I used to be the Main Propulsion Assistant on a US nuclear submarine. One of my job was to observe my division's work if on or off watch. I was on watch. I had a very experienced leading chief petty officer. I had very little experience. My mother showed me how to change the oil on my first car. I trusted him. We had a stuck valve. One person would be reading the procedure directed by the master chief and I would observe. The valve was still stuck. He knew I was a honest man and would a report to the CO after my watch. The master chief said politely, "Sir, please turn around." I turned around as I knew he was going to do something outside of procedure. The valve was fixed. He was the best leading petty officer I had. I took the division out to dinner once a year before I was transferred to another division.

When i did my apprenticeship i was a civil servant in England, where we had four weeks annual leave. One week was allowed in the spring, one in the winter, which was meant for Christmas and a fortnight for summer holidays. However we were also granted 10 extra leave days that could be used with no notice of use, you just rang in and said you would be using Domestic Leave. These were intended for hospital appointments, but you couldn't add them onto a bank holiday. The only other limitations was you had to overlap a Used Day by a year and a day before use again. This was in the 197s/1990s.

I don’t know if it’s just me but the irony of the story where the person didn’t shave to mess with their aunt saying not to let others choose how you decide to look yourself is 👌🏾. I hate both types of people the aunt for pushing her ideals on the person, and the person for doing the exact same thing 🤦🏾‍♂️

There might be a way around the no-coin rule. Just go to the counter if you have an account there, withdraw the smallest bill you can, walk over to the guy who handles the payments, pay it towards your balance, repeat. Repeat until they run entirely out of their supply of small bills or deny you, then make a public stink about it and either cause upper management, the government, or the public to come crashing down on them.

As someone who works at a non-profit, have no fear about someone claiming your donation on their taxes if that's the revenge you wish to take. As long as the donation comes from you and you simply list the donation as "In honor of Captain Dick", then you get to claim the donation if allowable in your area. They simply get a letter saying a donation was made in their honor. They may not even get told how much it was for (we don't offer that info in our letters).

STORY - University of no Trust What struck me was all the new "consultants" were from that one particular company which ended up being hired to run the IT Dept. This smells as bad as a skunk breaking eggs and leaving them to mostly rot. I wouldn't be surprised to find there were multiple family members or families related to the administration of this institution of learning. You know kickbacks and even a long term goal of finally outsourcing IT to this Company. Corruption abounds these days.

In my country it is legislation that a creditor is only obliged to accept up to $10.00 in coins in payment of a debt. But if the creditor is a Bank, there is no limit on how much in coins you can deposit.

To everyone in the usa if a company ever tells you they won't pay you for overtime that's illegal. By law in the US you must be paid for time worked. They can take action against you for working more then the agreed upon hours if that's the case but they have no choice but to pay you. Also if they threaten to fire you for bringing up legal action over it that's an additional offense known as retaliation. In each case I'd talk to an employment lawyer if things do get nasty.

These are geared at people putting them on in the background and listening while doing other things. There's plenty of other videos you can watch and plenty of other channels you can watch if this one isn't for you. Also, we DO have a podcast. Karma Comment Chameleon on ALL major podcast providers. For the manager comments. That’s what I tried to do as a supervisor. My manager didn’t want us to have headphones in and I know that my people could do the job and had no problems other than some customers saying “excuse me” twice. I was written up and I had to write up one of my better guys for being on his phone blatantly in front of a manager who was shopping. I walked out a month later. Was told to find a reason to fire a specific employee. Warned her and gave her a recommendation letter for her next job. Got a call two weeks ago about her first post college job. She didn’t get it but I told her to keep using me as a reference, when she finds her job I’m sure she will improve the team.
