As someone who likes to take walks on occassion and happens to be a mixed race male, it worries me that someone might think my cousins or sister would be a danger just to walk around with me. I have my own issues being antisocial, literally walking to different sides of the street if I'm walking towards someone, and although I'm conscious of race, I've been exposed to so many different people over the years that relying on stereotypes to denote dangerous people is just not reasonable. But considering how people STILL use them despite it literally being detrimental to the public image of their own race and creating even more division amongst people of different complexions, it's just an unfortunate fact of life that people choose to stay ignorant by not giving other people a chance.

Haha on the divorce story! My good friend had a great career, and became engaged to a moderately wealthy man. 2 days before they're to leave on a destination wedding, her fiancé presents her with a prenup for her to sign, "to protect them BOTH". My friend was in love, had a great career, and happily signed. Fast forward, she finds out her dream mate has been cheating on her since their engagement, all through their marriage. She's devastated, and files for divorce. The husband reminds her about the prenup, and she goes into panic mode because she doesn't remember what's in it, or even where it is. Every time they speak, he reminds her that she won't get a dime from him because of the prenup. He goes out of town, she still has a key to their house, so we go to hunt for the prenup. After 6 hours of searching to no avail, we decide to go to the lawyer who wrote the prenup. When we get there, there's a full SRO waiting room with a United Nations of clients. We were perplexed, but explained to the receptionist. She told us that the law offices didn't keep copies after 8 years (not ok or legal), and they only handled immigration matters. We leave in defeat, and go back to my friend's old house to get the last of her boxes that were in the attic. She looks in one to make sure it isn't junk and there's the elusive prenup. When she took it to her lawyer, her lawyer said, "This was never properly filed, and you were married over 12 years, and this prenup looks like it was written by an immigration attorney. It's basically worthless." So my friend got alimony, and the house, and a lump sum settlement. All the while her lordly ex fumed about vying to pay her many dimes after all! Karma is delicious!

This is it, this is probably the most wholesome puppy bloopers I’ve ever heard. The smooches, the obvious sound of him patting Yugo’s side aggressively, the mimicking of Yugo’s whines- My heart can’t take it, I’m suing RSlash for my oncoming diabetes-

I remember when I called the cops on this couple. They opened the front door across the street from me...WITH A LARGE POWER DRILL! I'm like "Oh, Hell no! They are not just breaking in during broad daylight!" The cops showed up and interrogated them. Turns out they were hired by the landlord to change the locks, clean, etc. The cop came over and thanked me anyway, "Actually a lot of break ins happen during the day." he said. Edit: They had the key from the previous tenant too! They didn't need to destroy the lock! They could've opened the door and changed the lock with a screw driver like a normal person! But no, they punched a hole straight through the keyhole!! Also, they were dressed casually and arrived in an unmarked car.

"and, no matter what it is if someone says "I want a deputy" we have to send." Do you know why it's like that? It's because people tend to assume the easiest thing that happens to fit their narrative and that genuinely doesn't work out all the time. Assuming someone is racist because they fail to convey something difficult to convey like why someone is suspicious is as easy and in line with your narrative as assuming the black guy walking down the street is casing the place.

It's the same reason when someone who is known to be mentally ill reports something strange (for example, an alien is swimming in my pool) we dispatch the call as a break in(or whatever they're reporting) despite the fact that that person is known to hallucinate.

The phone guy who was talking to the lady telling her story out of order, going on rants and putting in strange details, is he sure he wasn’t talking to Quentin Tarantino putting on a ladies voice?!

OMG, I got so unbelievably, borderline disproportionately excited when you said r/puppybloopers~!

Before my family and I moved to Lynnwood from shoreline in WA, we were a part of the "next door" community of our area. We got a couple people on there that did the exact same thing like the story at 3:50(ish). It was absolutely ridiculous. To the point my wife and I actually called people out and was like, "really? What is wrong with that?" "Well we just don't know who they are!" So I guess it's okay to discriminate against people just walking on the sidewalk in front of our houses.... It was bad. Glad we moved. We both let them know that it wasn't okay nor we're we okay with them being bigots.

The puppy bloopers are the best! I love hearing people baby talk to their dogs. Especially men. My dogs act like their life is super hard and they get no love or attention. Lol.

I gotta say I really appreciate the detailed description you gave of the pallet/truckload of paperwork. Not only it is nice for the people like me and my husband who just listen while we work on other things, but it’s also a great thing to do for vision-impaired viewers.
