If all rajdhanis are converted to tejas, then the charishma of these trains would have increased like the old days but the railway official doesn't give a damn about this things.😢😢😢

Just Imagine the insult to Howrah and Sealdah Rajdhani, a few of the oldest Rajdhanis in the country. They are still waiting for the new Tejas Rakes.

That makes sense.

There are few 2009 made Rajdhani or Duronto coaches are still in use . Seeing the internal conditions (particularly rusted old water tap, poor toilet condition) it really feels bad that why IR not replacing those 15 years old coaches! And Yes, being a rail fan I think there should be some distinguishable color for premium trains like Rajdhani, Duronto. Particularly Duronto has now a days been a mixed breed with Red-Ivory livery + Duronto livery + Humsafar livery.

Railways is going to bring in VB sleeper trains which is replace the Rajdhani trainsets in phased manner so most probably, Rajdhanis on high priority routes will get VB sleepers whose Tejas rakes will be given to those Rajdhani which are currently LHB, and those LHB will be shifted to other trains and so on. eg Mum Delhi Rajdhani will need 2 VB sleeper rakes (one in each direction) but currently Mum Delhi Rajdhani shares rakes with August Kranti Rajdhani so that Rajdhani train will also need 2 VB sleeper sets. anyways, every loco and coach has a 20-25 year lifespan and removing a loco or a coach before its EOL (end of life) means a loss in investment.

Train sets are the way forward . 2047 ( 100th year of independence ) you will see the top most category will be the bullet train followed by train sets VB Sleeper and VB CC. Locomotive hauled trains will be far and few between. All rail coach factories will manufacture train sets. Locomotive manufacturing will be restricted to Goods Loco. Though it hurts me as a rail fan i think it is inevitable no matter who is in power. Well like they say " The only thing permanent is change ". 😊

This is not good, all Rajdhani should get upgraded into Tejas Rajdhani, along with Engine with Tejas Livery

There has been a photo leaked of updated first AC red LHB rake with automatic doors so most probably rest of rajdhani will get those modern RED LHB automatic coaches henceby giving them some distinction

How does livery of train matter to passenger travelling inside it. The railway staff gets alerts of each rake as a train, so problem kya hai unified color mein as long as they have ontime performance and highest quality of comfort to passenger

I think that trainsets are going to replace locomotive hauled stock for premium trains, which is a good decision. EMU trainsets are better for passenger services.

Now a days, they put mixed coloured coaches in Rajdhani rakes which makes it a hotchpotch. Take an example of Sealdah Rajdhani, it is a mixture of red lhb, green textured duronto lhb and humsafar lhb. The premium feeling of the Rajdhani has totally gone now.

honestly speaking... jo log coaching yard mein hote hain wo bhi bolte hain hamako spares avalible nahi hota hain aur upar se gaadi release karne ka pressure pura hota hain.... to wo bhi majbur hoke jo coach avalible hota hain laga dete hain result aapke saamne hain aaj aalu bhujiya (Rajdhani express) Mixture namkeen ban gayi hain 😁

Sleeper VandeBharat will replace rajdhani just like CC VandeBharat has replaced and took the priority even more than Shatabdi express on major routes

Vande bharat ya sleeper ki requirement thi hi nahi agar railway have done few adjustments with lhb coaches then push pull technologies lhb ke saath acha lagta aur agar introduce hi karna tha naye dang se toh rrts wala racks le aate present and looks mein kafi achi hai!! Premium feel deta hai

Rajdhani durunto is of old talks btw! It's also getting too late because of a economy/chair car vande bharat! I mean it doesn't make sense now all agree that indian railway had started to get unfit because of bad administative desicions. I want railways to add more tracks and some more good trains like super fast or amrit bharat on a effordable manner! It's sad but true The downfall of indian railway had started now (btw it's just my opinion please don't attack me as I have constitutional right to do so and please i am not even politicising so those people stay away)
