Never assume a Human is unarmed unless the Human has no arms. Never assume a Human is harmless at any time or for any reason. The only thing more dangerous than a Human that likes you is a Human that actively dislikes you.

nhaa... that likely happen right away to stop the momentum of the employers foes... but what likely be 50 years later... admirals & generals giddy over the results that R&D have from processing all the combat data from the ''deployments'' along with the buffer to the 'modernization' of hardware or outright..manpower.. that the income from said merc activity make possible ;)

I love that it's not just humans that fear the A10 but it even puts the fear of God into xenos.

Well... when you have 10,000 rounds of depleted uranium slugs per.minute coming down range at you, and you just saw what one of those things did to a tank and the infantry surrounding it. Pretty sure you'd be begging a higher power to save you too.

@@Talon1124 *4000-5000 rounds per minute. We’ve yet to create a multi barreled weapon capable of firing at anything above 5000 rpm for prolonged periods without... melting the gun. There is the Metal Storm prototype weapon, but it’s more like a wall of guns all firing at the exact same time.

You mean dihydrogenmonoxide? Yeah, not a strong oxidizer, at least on Earth. Maybe xeno's make their stuff from different materials. Also, when raw iron gets wet rust is quick to form, so a common association exists for readers. There are fluorine based oxidizers that can be described as "fire that burns everything to ash, then burns the ashes, and then sets the fire on fire".

Heard this sound more than a few times in my military career and found comfort as well as fear because you never hear the sound of the A-10s gun until everything around you as well as your body being shredded

Ozzie born here. Shovel is taught to us rural kids before we learn to ride a bike. Gotta be able to kill the top 9 deadliest land snakes if you want to play in the backyard after all.

Its all fun and games until the humans bring out the A-10 warthog....beautiful sound and lovely destruction....we really are space orcs.

Why does youtube keep recommending this and not recommend a video of a a10 warthog firing immediately after.

Got to love the audacity of the admiral in the 2nd story. For a species that likes to travel around the galaxy harvesting worlds he is awfully familiar with mercy and diplomacy. The most forgiveness he can expect is for humans to not kill his species or compleatly destroy their culture.

I love the A-10 WARTHOG, it is by and far my favorite aircraft, it has personally saved my life a time or two
