I have a 2 year old sarplaninac (yugoslavian shepherd) and he gets 1.5 kgs of fresh meat a day. Whole chickens, chicken backs, chicken wings, they eat everything except fruits and veggies. When he was younger (8m-1.5years) he was getting 2.5 per day. They love munching on big bones as well.

Vos chiens sont magnifiques. Avez vous parfois des chiots?

Leo is taller, Co is shorter but more muscular. Temperament aren't quite the same.

@@user-cq4gh7qy4y Я знаю.Для экстерьера.Раньше в Грузии существовало поверье что волки хватают собак за уши хвост.Раньше и хвосты купировали.Слава богу сейчас ээтого не делают.

@@user-cn1oq3xt9p Скорее не поверие а суровая практика и желание чабана избавить своего помощника от уязвимых мест когда встреча с волком не гепатетическая а реальная. Я своему "Цезарю" тоже уши оставил, ему отару гонять не грозит и смотрица красивее. С купированым хвостом я видел лет семь назад, честно говоря в условиях города это кажется действительно лишним.

@@user-cq4gh7qy4y Да оно вроде бы и так.Но есть ошейники с шипами.Да я думаю что сейчас чабаны не с одними палками сдада охраняют.Мой отец когда то кавказца купил для охраны дома.Он уже врослый был,наверно года полтора или два.Уши не были купированы.Да и волков в нашей местности не было тогда.Хороший был пес,правда с характером.С тех пор мне очень нравится эта порода.Жаль что держать нет возможности.
