Lol I guess some people think dogs licking is kissing. Dogs gain all their information from smell and taste, what you've been doing, what you ate for lunch, etc. Probably just tasting what the cat has been eating.....

The fact that this cat trusts this dog enough to let him be so close to her kittens is just amazing. This cat and pupp definitely have a strong friendship

@@josephinetracy1485 I doubt they kept the dogs with the kittens any longer. It's also good for the dog to learn who they are and to be careful with them since it's just a puppy. The cat seems to have a lot of trust in it's owner to allow this. Of course the mother is concerned she is very cautious..

People have lost limbs from allowing this. I DARE you to search "dogs lost limbs." A dog is like rat; it has a system that allows it to survive with bacteria, parasites, and disease all over its filthy hide without harming it. I had two neighbors right on the same block here who both died of lung cancer from owning dogs and breathing their toxic dander for years!

She hissed and threatened a pap because he was washing her head hard. She dissuaded him from being rough so he wouldn't do it with her kittens She knows he's just a baby too and needs to be taught, so she is teaching him. She'll do the same with her as they grow.

Clearly trusts him, but I LOVE how she gently warns him, but then immediately rolls over to offer him a sip! Mommacats are so lovey!

What’s so beautiful about this is that mom cat seems to know she has nothing to worry about with the puppy and is relaxed. The pup and momma cat and her kids are so adorable. One big happy family. Seeing this has made my night complete.

Obviously, they’ve been good friends for awhile. We all know how fiercely protective Mother cats, etc. are about their babies. She knows their safe with her buddy Shepherd.

Mama cat had no worries.....she knew she could trust puppy shepherd to be gentle. So heartwarming 💖

The mother cat appears stressed out and frightened at first, then she calms down because she trusts the puppy. That's adorable.

You can tell when the mother meows that she’s telling the pup “You can be here but behave yourself”

The trust and patience that cat is showing is remarkable!!! In my experience a lot of animal moms (cats and dogs) are quite protective of their babies and don't let anyone near them besides their trusted human (if even that), so it's absolutely beautiful to see the cat letting her puppy friend give her kisses and say hello to the kittens ❤️

dog owners just can't even begin to grasp how filthy a dogs paws are.

Beautiful GS pup and fine kittens too. The pup was a complete gentleman and treated the Mum cat and her young ones with love and respect.

He's so clumsy but gentle. I loved the snoot boop and kiss to the mama cat. He promises to be careful. He also seems amazed that those little cat babies are even smaller than him.

This is the most chill mother cat I have ever seen in my entire life. Having supervised both cats and dogs giving birth before and having other animals, I was fully expecting her to attack this pup when he got too close to her babies, considering these kittens look like newborns, I am surprised how willing she is to allow this pup so near her and the babies. Clearly she trusts him. Other than the one swipe, she was totally relaxed with him.

I like how the mother cat is still a bit cranky after giving birth. Even when the dog was politely sniffing and licking her, she almost pawed at him.

So smart of the puppy’s master to acquaint him to the kittens! This is a very precious moment and those fur babies are adorable!

Don't have any pets (up until recently, my building wasn't allowed pets... now I've moved, pets are allowed, but will probably still take a while before I can afford to look after one). Did grow up with my family, always having two dogs and a cat. So I am used to pets. My favourite animals are bees - of course, you can't keep them as pets (not good for them), so you just have to plant flowers and see them enjoy the flowers. But since I now have a share in a garden, I can do that. Will be sorta-kinda like having pets. :) When me and my partner do get a proper pet, I'm guessing it will be a cat or a dog. Seems like the obvious and sensible pair of options.

I know she is comfortable with the puppy and feels safe having her kittens and guard down around it,but felines of different species like big cats(lions,tigers,jaguars,etc..) will also go on their backs as a defensive position ready to use all four of their claws to tear apart the threat in question.

Yes, she even lays back and closes her eyes. Cats only close their eyes when they feel it's safe.

It's wonderful to have a four-legged companion; they're not just pets but also a source of support and joy in our daily lives.

The dog is intrigued by how relaxed and happy the cats and mom are. He is like..... how do I get in on this action because at the end of the day, that's all that animals want. Unconditional love.

My adopted male pitbull mix is almost 9 years old and I still call him "pupper" ~ I can see my Jasper behave the same way as this pup did. We just lost our beloved 13 month old female kitty CeCe the other day. Jasper is heartbroken & missing CeCe, as are my husband and I. You can tell by the paws on this little guy that he is going to be a big boy! I love German shepherd’s, he reminds me of my Loki boy when he was little 😢 now he’s a huge monster but still a puppy at heart. ❤

So so beautiful, I love how the puppy came in and was in total play mode then saw the kittens and quickly got really gentle and cautious. Mama kitty is very patient and trusting and the newborns are angels, this is what heaven must look like

Absolutely priceless and adorable.

This puppy and mother kitty are of same family as Bailey the golden retriever. Cat and puppy know each other well. Ive enjoyed watching all their videos for some time.😊

Right, you can tell if a person is good by the way their animals behave. If they are all really sweet and loving then the human parents are probably really good people.

This is how you raise a large dog to be gentle! 👍You make sure you know the dog well enough to know how it behaves when introduced to new animals, and then you make sure they don't inadvertently harm the other animal. Exposure training is important!

German sheperds are so smart ,gentle. This makes me feel so good about everthing.

As young as he is, he's protecting Mom and babies.

The trust! The relaxation! The licks! I wasn’t even watching the kittens, I was watching momma cat the whole time - her bond with the big bumbling puppy around her babies is so cute!

It’s cute… but I wouldn’t trust that dog unsupervised, those licks are a bit close to bites at the end (as noted by the cat), and it’s a clumsy dog with big heavy paws.

@@njones420 of course not unsupervised. He’s still a puppy and while he may never do anything to hurt the kittens on purpose, he can very easily get overexcited and forget to be gentle.

She wasn't taking her eyes from the puppy for a second till she saw her human friends are there. .. She knew that her human friends won't let her kitten to be hurt .. & she knows she & her kittens are all safe as long as her human buddies are around her.

German shepherd pups are so friggin cute...those ears😂

I can say that I have. My pit slept with my cat and her kittens and wouldn’t let my smaller dog near them. For whatever reason she just adores cats.

Yeap ! When I saw little German Shepherd JESSIE trying to nibble DORA's nose, I found that scary and awful, because Mom Cat was giving some milk to her little children and she could'nt make any movement ... but making : "Meaow !"....... Poor Dora ! When will her owners understand that she still needs to be quiet and to rest without being disturbed by all those huge monsters-dogs, like Bailey & Rocky, or these two little girls, Mia & Jessie ? Dora's kids are so tiny......

My best friend in the whole world will not get a pet he's visible oh I love the animals dogs cats guinea pigs fish they all interact so well I grew up with German Shepherds my parents got olders so did I I don't know how to act my age I've never been this old but they got cat because I could do the litter box and I'll have to walk it isn't that a beautiful dog you know they have Post Office stamps that are all different kinds of service animals they're dogs well happy Mother's Day to everybody dog smells God backwards and Mom spells wow upside down

Its a more relaxed position, yes, but it also conviniently puts her left paw in line for a good swing, if the pup should get overexited. 😉 Willing to trust, but ready for a fight if need be. Good momma cat right there.

Lovely ! German Sheperd puppy is very affectionate towards Mom Cat... He's more self control than the Golden Retriever puppy we saw last week in the same context.

Adorable. I applaud the care calmness in helping the dog be careful and giving attention to the cat too. That was a great meet and greet session!
