r/Choosingbeggars "You FED Your Kids??? You're SELFISH!" Funny Reddit Posts

Комедия

r/Choosingbeggars can be absolutely unbelievable! What kind of person would get ANGRY at a mother because she FED her children? I mean... WHAT??? That is literally a parent's #1 job, to make sure her kids are safe, healthy, and fed. How insanely entitled do you have to be to get angry at a mother for buying food? Posts like these make me feel like I've lost all hope in humanity. Oh well, we may as well laugh while the world burns! Enjoy these funny Reddit posts!

Look, I’ve worked at no-kill animal shelter for years. You can’t ask volunteers to give out or adopt out pets as they don’t have the power or the authority to do so. Besides, once an animal is adopted, they are no longer property of that shelter. Also, you don’t demand anyone to give you the pet they legally adopted just because you want it. That’s like taking someone’s child. By the way, choosing beggar, if you have a problem with not getting the pet you wanted, then why are you complaining to a volunteer and not the shelter staff?

I never liked the phrase "the customer is always right" because it makes people think it gives them the right to disrespect people who work in sales or other customer services. However I hate it even more when I learned the true meaning of the phrase. The phrase "the customer is always right" actually relates to the general customer base in market research. When businesses old and new are learning about what products/services to provide they really heavily on trends or basically what is in demand by the general crowd. To learn the proper meaning of this phrase then hearing entitled individuals use it so liberally as an excuse to make unreasonable demands makes me so mad!

Agreed. It's actually really resourceful of her, especially since those coupons WERE thrown out and would have gone to waste otherwise. THAT would be a valid reason to tell her to stop. I'm not judging this lady too harshly because, again, I think she's resourceful and we don't know what "special" thing her savings are going towards. 12:27 literally just happened to me with another item, very similar pricing situation. No joking. I was told that the person just uses the item for gardening (like that matters. If the item has a certain worth it doesn't matter what you use it for), so I told her nope thanks. I could just give it for free if I go down by more than 75% of the price I want the item to be sold for.

Also, in retail you have to go by the price on the till because sometimes customers come in and deliberatly switch the prices to try and get reduced stuff. It sucks, but ya have to deal with it. Well, I don't anymore since I'm in a different line of work now. But you could literally see customers switching the tickets sometimes and demanding a discount. Or bringing in expired coupons with the date clearly printed on them and wondering why I couldn't accept it. Failing to realise that if I did accept it, the till would be out at the end of day (it would be down the amount the discount that I applied), and that would lead to mega problems with area managers and big bosses getting involved. Nope, not worth it. Also, in that particular place it was also a problem if a customer said 'keep the change'. No, ma'am can't do that. It ain't my money and the company can't take it either, so it royally messes everything up. One time a customer was super pushy about it and really rude. I tried to tell them why I couldn't accept it, thankfully my manager stepped in and said we can just donate the money to the charity box so no one gets into trouble.
