The phrase "post tenebras lux" (after darkness, light), a rallying cry of Protestant Reformers, refers to the rediscovery of biblical truth in a time of spiritual darkness. It sounds like RC wasn't very agreeable with John Calvin's view of total depravity. Did I hear that right?
As the speaker describes 'what the gospel is' as the life and works of Jesus, Jesus himself consistently said to 'preach his kingdom'..clearly.

Victoria Layrisse. What is your point? You apparently know nothing about Dr. Sproul. What is the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Please inform us.
Why would Jesus needs to come back down here on earth with his gifts IF everybody is already with him in heaven? Initially before the reign of God's Kingdom on earth, "nobody goes to heaven but the one who came from heaven".

You have got it wrong Read Hebrews where it talks about angels in celestial gatherings and before the souls of just men made perfect

@Dd S . Mythology? Why? Because you say so? Your unbelief and hatred of God is exactly what the Scripture passage was referring to.
I believe sincerely that the natives who never heard of Jesus will be given a chance to know Jesus in the 1000-year reign of God's Kingdom here on earth.
