Forreal! First time I heard i legitimately wept, both from happiness and sadness. Never heard a song that took me on a Rollercoaster of emotions. Still choke up every time.

Keep doing the right thing and always make the effort. Your son will see it as he grows. Mine is 7. Was in and out of jail the first 3 years of his life. But now I get him 2 nights a week and we have a great relationship. It was a rough ride but kids are worth it brother 🙏

This is the generation of redemption for the fatherless fathers being real dads tryna do the right thing with too often times, baby mommas that grew up without dads, or with step dads or mom's boyfriends, in homes with the same resentment towards non commital fathers as most of us fatherless fathers have/had. It's like we gotta not only do our part but we gotta make up for the shit job the previous generations of sperm donors did at taking responsibility for their seeds. Stay involved, fight for AT LEAST equal parental rights, and make sure your babies know it takes 2 people to give them life and 2 people are responsible for nurturing that life to make sure there is balance in their upbringing for when it's time to tend the next generation, it will be empowered by equality.

As a dad of girls, the first time I heard this song it just hit different. 👍 "the birth of a baby daughter softens a man's heart"

The fact that this has been release for 2 years now and only has 10k likes is criminal....

I remember when I first heard this song, it was about 6 months after this album came out and my wife and I had just found out we were going to have a baby. Our first pregnancy before had been a miscarriage. We were scared but holding on to hope that everything would be okay this time around. I remember sitting on the couch and listening to this song and hoping that we would have a little girl and crying. Today, we have our beautiful little girl and this song hits me in a way I can’t explain. My daughter is everything to me and this song does a good job of giving a small glimpse into a father’s view of his little girl. Thank you R.A. for this beautiful art. My girl is my whole entire world and there’s not a single thing I wouldn’t do for her.
