The Brown family of Throckmorton, Texas, has been raising kids, cattle and American Quarter Horses since 1895. Horses have always been a part of the ranch and the family has always had close ties with AQHA -- R.A. Brown Sr. was at the meeting when AQHA was formed and his son Rob Brown served as AQHA President in 1995. Take a glance back at the ranch, which won the 1997 AQHA Best Remuda Award.

Donnell was the FFA National President that handed me my American Farmer Degree. I was fortunate enough to spend a great time with him the night he retired from the office. Kudos,Donnell, and I will never forget your service to FFA !
