QuickBooks Online Certification Exam Preparation Tips
QuickBooks Online Certification Exam is not timed and its FREE.
It's OPEN BOOK and you can take one section at a time. Even though the sections are not timed, you want to complete each one at one setting and get the next one soon after. There are approximately 10-20 questions per section. You'll receive an exam score once all sections submitted. You’ll have 3 attempts to pass the sections you did NOT pass with 80% or more.
If you do not pass after 3 attempts, you’ll wait 60 days and then take again. This is an independent test and should be taken ONLY by you.
Exam is FREE and you can access from the QuickBooks Online Accountant Dashboard also known as the ProAdvisor Portal:

Thank you so much for the tips. It's very informative. Just getting tips on how to pass. I took the exam 2 days ago and I only passed 1 section -Section 5. So I'm preparing to take the exams for the 2nd time. Hope I pass the exam this time. Watching from Manila Philippines.

hello @user-ge7zd8yv9d All you need to do is sign into the same account but using the Incognito window option so that its a clean version of QBOA. Its the same concept as if you signed into the same QBOA account through 2 separate google users. That way you have one open for the exam and the other open to test out the questions. And then you can have a 3rd option open with the test drive. I failed twice by trying to do it by memory. Didn't realise this is an open-book exam and the time limitation is only a recommendation. Will re-do it next week by taking all the time in the world. First-time scores - 40+ Second time scores - Uppoer 60s and lower 70s
