Another great and informative video Veronica. Thank you for sharing your experience. One this I would add is that in addition to being Advanced ProAdvisor certified, the more reviews you have put you higher on the search. It is basically the tiebreaker for the advanced providers. Reviews are generally easy to get from clients. I have never had to ask a client more than 3 times for a review before getting one. Most clients provide a review on the first request. So be patient. Finally, I have shifted my business to doing one on one training of QBO (in person and virtually) with clients and other bookkeepers. It has been a great way to expand my knowledge and help others get the most out of their QBO. We also verify that they are using the best QBO and Payroll subscription levels for their business. Often saving them hundreds of dollars each month. I always hear that QBO is so expensive, but sometimes find they are simply paying for more than they need or can use an app to do that one thing that they have the higher priced subscription for. Same here. Plan on starting my own bookkeeping business and I've been watching lots of useful channels on KZread. Finally found this channel. Don't know why it took so long to show up on the algorithms. I'll be checking out a lot of these videos. Very helpful.

Hi, I am new at quickbooks. I want to learn about Quickbooks ProAdvisor, so I made an account. But in my account, I can not find the "ProAdvisor" tab. It's only "Training". Am I make a mistake while make the account? Thank you in advance for your answer.

The Proadvisor training is under the Training tab.

I have not been able to sign up for the online accountant account because I am based in Nigeria and the zipcode isn't enlisted. Is there anything I can do please to sign up and take the training successfully

Hello Sarat. I don't think that you could get listed since the directory works based on zip codes. But you could always check with Intuit's tech support.

Hi, I found your channel while trying to look for some inspiration online. I am studying AAT level 2 in accounting but I never worked in the field. I have been applying for multiple jobs, apprenticeships, internships but all were unsuccessful. 8 time out of 10 I am being told that I don’t have the experience needed even though the job description said ‘no experience required’. It feels like there’s no place that will hire me. Therefore, I am seriously thinking and looking into opening my own business. My question for you is do you think that it would help more if I had the ProAdvisor certification in order to attract clients? I am still in the early stages but I want to create a strategy and have a legit plan because I am determined to do something about my future, I’m tired of waiting. Any other advice you would have for me would be welcomed. Thank you 😊

Hi. It is always helpful to get the free ProAdvisor certification. You'll learn more about QBO and it will help you with your confidence and also to attract clients. By the way, if you are looking for a job, the ProAdvisor certification is a must.

Would you recommend doing a bookkeeping course before getting certified or vice versa?

You should take bookkeeping first. That's the foundation of everything.

You should also have bookkeeping training or bookkeeping/accounting experience to find a job as a bookkeeper or to become a bookkeeping business owner.

Hi. I'm not familiar with how to set up a QuickBooks Online Accountant account in India. Perhaps you can do a google search for QBOA India. You should do it on your desktop computer and not your mobile phone.
