I got one question. Neither I have my own accounting firm nor I work in any firm. I want to get QBO Certification, so that it increases my chances of getting a job. So my question is that, can I mention imaginary firm when I am signing up for free QBO?

Hi Hector, your videos are awesome. I have spent over an hour on the phone with QB support and they were not able to find a solution. We need a report to show all checks written on a specific payroll period, not just a specific pay date as there can be more than one payday to accommodate corrections. How can we see all checks written for a specific pay period? Thank you for your time.

In QuickBooks Online, i think this is not possible.

Can you pause the exam to view the training modules? For note purposes being that it’s open notes?

ProAdvisor, yes is “open notes” and its not timed, so no need to “pause”

Having some limited exposure to Desktop over 5 years ago, I passed the QBO ProAdvisor certification exam last week, but I don't feel prepared to go out there and take on the books for a business. Another trainer that endorses you implies if we don't go on to get the Advanced cert, we won't get clients. What next step(s) would you suggest? Start studying for Advanced? Take more fundamental Accounting/Bookkeeping courses? Other?

QuickBooks is a software, Accounting is a Profession. To make a living in this profession, you need to understand how accounting works AND the software used. So yes, to both things you mentioned. Maybe get an internship in an accounting firm.

I watched the video, it is very helpful, thank you Mr. Garcia, One question I want to confirm: All Online Intuit certifications are free but not the Desktop ones, IS IT ???

The Intuit ProAdvisor certification is free. The one you pay for is the other one.
