quick winter blast on 50v lipo razor scooter 7000w motor
It was wet and slippy but the path was smooth, to many pedestrians and dogs to have any fun, ill have to come back in summer really early in the morning so i can get some speed through the bends.
Now i have geared up i can feel the bms limiting the power, The vesc resets every time i go over a bad bump it always has, i dont know why.
*update after watching the video i can hear the motor spin up after i jump of the bump because there is no suspension, so obviously the vesc looses sync, its not reseting. Mystery solved ;)

We definately have go back there, your scooter looks just same acceleration but with mad top speed now.

If you chopped the headstock off and added the front end of a mountain board you would have a wicked es8 board. I did it to a petrol scooter years ago. I'll try to ad a vid 😉

I do fancy building a complete frame and body. If I stretch the frame then I've got to stretch the deck and the box. I may as well make the lot from scratch.
Do you even understand how jelause I am of that mine is still stock 😭😭 you should put one of the seats on I've got one I'm waiting for a speed controller in the mail but definitely will not be as good as that
Gotta be doin 40mph there easy .......looks well fast :-) done a razor e100 bout a month ago now usin a scrap hoverboard and ebay 36v 350w controller amazing for such a small amount of power......me my 5yr old and around 15kg of shopping from asda no problem lol......gotta do my e300 next ...... nice1 dickie :-)

Lance Osman I have upped the gearing slightly, i know the speed it’s doing but I don’t want to spoil the fun, the sound of this motor is awesome, and those hover board motors will make an ideal commuter scooter.

@@dickiewithers9564 yea gotta agree the motor sound is epic mate...........hoverboard tops out around 12/15 mphish at 350w.........i orderd 1000w controller few days ago gonna try that for shits and giggles.......will it just pull off faster or give a bit more speed.....i dont know lol
What throttle do you recommend/ are you using for your vesc set up? I am building from a razor RX200 and am planning on finishing it in a few weeks. Almost identical to your setup but I am using The V2 C10080 180kv motor and using a Stormcore 100D VESC.

thats going to be seriously fast, you are very lucky to have the 100d vesc. i wish i could find one. twist grip is the best throttle for all round grip and comfort. thumb throttles hurt after a while and twist throttles mean you carnt lean your weight on the grip.
Hi Dickie what battery is in this scoot ? 50v Lipo you say ? Specs please is it one big battery or two in there ? What’s your range ?? Thanks

It is two 16000 mah 6s lipo packs joined in series. To make 50v range is dependent on power. So always Best to calculate the watt hours of a battery and compare range that way.

It’s a vesc. One of the older ones rated about 80amps
80-100 10s Lipo @150amps? Love the build

12s lipo. 150 amps peak maybe but more like 80amps under load.

@@dickiewithers9564 What you think of this setup A 63100 140kv 4500w alien outrunner Alien 120a esc ? 10s 10ah lipos 15 to 52 gear with a 10 inch wheel I basically have the same chassis as the e300 scoot mines a pacelight 701

Quite clearly 33mph on a tint wheels scooter with less then bugger all safety isn't enough for this guy... by the way, skateboarders have excellent bash hats for scooters. Not pointless ones like peddle bikers
