My favorite Movie and song Puppet on a String!!!!
The 2003 first FTD Release contains *Take 4* of *"You'll Be Gone"* (released by mistake) and NOT the Master (Take 3)! The 2010 FTD Re-release has been corrected with the Master of "You'll Be Gone". The 2014 FTD Re-release has the same content as the 2010 Version (slightly changes on the layout). Thank you John and Jamie. @ i suspect, FTD's "Girl Happy" was a finance success...😁

Hi Jamie and John, So sorry I missed the Festival, I couldn't get away from my day job. Girl Happy is my favorite Elvis comedy movie next to Spinout and Follow That Dream. I really liked this release. I heard all of it before on other releases but I liked that this one was official and packaged with the original LP Cover. Keep up the good work.
Totally agree guys, i love girl happy ! it's the perfect rainy sunday afternoon & pancakes movie for me ;-) :-) Maybe even don't bother to get out of the pyjamas :-) :-)

Probably the title track and 'Cross My Heart, Hope to Die,' for me.
The first Elvis novie I watched and it's still one of my favourites. The label in the packaging is a reproduction. The last Elvis record with "Living Stereo" on the label in the U.S. was It Happened At the World's Fair.

Yep, therefore it begs the question -- WHY the heck didn't they use a real reproduction image of the U.S. Girl Happy vinyl label??

Yes; it's an original Acetate Recording on a rare 1980's Bootleg Vinyl👌 Thank You for the Comment! ... it was also released on Bootleg CD later...but keep on the Vinyl Release😉
The additional lyrics that were cut from "I've Got to Find My Baby" are pretty lame, so it was probably a good idea to edit that song for record release. However, it's too bad that the heads at RCA didn't hang on to the original tapes for historical purposes.
One of my favorite 60's movie albums. Too bad they sliced up the masters and the "Wolf Call" acetate with the additional verses is well worn as well. I'm with John with "It Hurt's Me". ❤🩹Excellent review guys! C'mon everybody and 👉subscribe and get this channel up there where it deserves to be!
