Quick Relief For Fallen Arch Pain With This EASY Taping Method | Taught By Expert Physical Therapist
Been suffering from flat feet or collapsed arches? Rehab and Revive's Physical Therapist shows a couple of quick tests to determine if you might be suffering from flat feet. He then demonstrates a quick taping technique using Leukotape and Cover Roll Stretch to temporarily reduce the discomfort associated with flat feet. Remember that you should not rely solely (no pun intended) on tape for "curing" your flat feet. It is best to reach out to your local physical therapist. They can formally determine whether or not you have flat feet and prescribe you exercises to help correct the fallen arches!

Thank you for this important information.I am an athlete and I have flat feet. Thats why I have a lot knee and foot problem. This video helped me.
You can see how he has a noticeably different gap between the big and second toe in each foot. In the foot that collapses, the big toe is pointing inwards and there is no toe gap. The big toe plays huge role in arch strength.

I have had flat feet all my life, I’m nearly 60 now and y right foot great toe no gap with a bunion forming, the left foot gap, no bunion, but that left foot is the one with pain behind medial maleoli and along the foot on the putter side- so I don’t think there has to be a standard rule like this- my theory is the first metatarsal drift on the right, and the fifth metatarsal proximal head drift on the left.
Thanks so much for the clear explanations! Never knew the foot had three arches until now.
Sounds like a smart guy. Thanks for the lesson!
thanks for this great tutorial. will definitely try it after a hard training, when my feet muscles are tired and complaining.
Can this replace buying orthotics? I spent so much on orthotics already and i feel like i never found the right match for my foot. Thanks
Thank you, so helpful right now!
can i use kinesio tape for this? leukotape is very expensive here
Will this do anything at all to help in the long term?
Where can I go t get my foot taped? PT? Chiropractor, Orthopedic? Really need. Can't do myself.

Yes, but it may not be strong enough, you can add a longitudinal tape strap using KT tape to help with fasciitis- look up ankle taping with KT tape or Rock Tape
Nice feet. I need this.
Anyone know the name of the 2 tapes that he used?

Hi Abdul! We have a video on our channel all about PT tapes, where Dr. Lin goes over his preferred brands.
I have braces that support my feet like this but I love the idea of being able to tape my feet and get the support I need without the bulky braces
