Here is a Quick Honest Review of the Tecnifibre X-One Biphase Multifilament Tennis String in Red. Let me show you.
This Quick Honest Review is of the Tecnifibre X-One Biphase, a multifilament tennis string. Tecnifibre, known for their high-quality tennis rackets and strings, offers this premium multifilament string that closely mimics the feel of natural gut but at a more affordable price. The X-One Biphase, presented here in red, is also available in other colors like yellow and clear.
This string is particularly suitable for players with arm issues due to its excellent shock absorption. It's also durable, making it a good choice for players who frequently break strings. The string reviewed is 17 gauge, but it is also available in 16 gauge, and possibly in 18 gauge if you search online.
The X-One Biphase is highly effective in a hybrid setup, paired with a polyester string. The main drawback is its price point, which is around $22, making it more expensive than other multifilament strings that might be priced around $10 to $12. However, its durability and outstanding playability justify the higher cost.
In conclusion, if you're seeking a top-notch multifilament string with great shock absorption and arm-friendly features, or if you're interested in a hybrid setup, the Tecnifibre X-One Biphase is definitely worth trying. Thanks for watching Quick Honest Reviews.

I was looking for a string like natural gut to buy here in Brazil, cause its very expensive! Not that the tecnifibre x one biphase isnt, but obviously cheaper than natural gut. Im looking for to use with a Luxilon Power Rough 17. Which X One Biphase would u recommend? 16, 17, 18? Thank you a lot for the review.

Thank you for your comment @rodrigomaceddo. I would try either the 16 or 17 gauge to last longer, the Luxilon poly will start wearing through the 18 much quicker.

Hi, you mentioned durability as being very good... how durable (some ? weeks/months playing 2 or 3 times a week)? Thanks

@tinycat555, thank you for your comment. It depends on how you play, of course, but generally, the higher the level of play, the harder and with a lot of topspin the ball will be hit, resulting in more frequent restringing needed. For recreational players playing a couple of times a week using a full bed of the X-one Biphase string could certainly last a few months. The 16 gauge would be longer-lasting than the 17 gauge. This is a really good quality sting and worth trying.
