I've never broke one but you could reinforce prone areas with JB weld to make them stronger & prevent damage.......My cover came made messed up. So I reinforced it w JB weld before using it & it's held.

I used JB weld in a bunch of stuff but when I seen how strong it was by holding in my bearings into my wheels hubs. I was sold on it then. I’m heavy and I pull a trailer a lot and I’m just rough on stuff and break axels often enough to know I put the rear wheel through some hard times and the fact that I JB welded my races into rear wheels hubs so I could switch from sealed bearings to loose ball bearings was amazing to me that it held up to all the shock and abuse a rear wheel goes through not to mention the torque from the different motors I have run on the bike. It tea is good stuff when used correctly.

How do you break a case like that? Kind of curious. Seriously! Never yet out of 1000s bike engines fixed for people seen case crack like that. Rock jammed in it or something? I only ask because we have no rocks in South Carolina actually no joke.

This one actually was my fault, the clutch was rusted into the bearing in left and right and when I was trying to get it out the blocks I had it on so I could keep it up off the ground slipped a lil bit just as was coming down with the hammer and I tried to stop the hammer but I still hit it just hard enough on the screw hole that’s supposed to be there and cracked it. Once I seen it was cracked I know it’s only a matter of time that it will break completely because of the brittle aluminum so I just pulled it off and fixed it. But the other two was one it happened cause the screw came out of that hole and I didn’t know cause it wasn’t my bike it was heathers bike and she didn’t notice it either and then the chain came up and cracked it of when her wheel got jammed up long time ago. That was the first time I seen it and had to figure something out. And the other was a case I got in a horse trade and don’t know how it happened to it but was told it was like that and said I’ll take it as a sweetener for the deal. But it’s pretty common from what I hear cause I seen three and I hear others ask about it all the time. Also SC definitely has rocks but not as much on your side of the state. Where I lived in Greenville there’s tons tons of rocks and mountains and crap like that. But on your side it’s a lot of pretty sand and beaches.

If you've done that to three different motors, don't you think you're doing something wrong to cause it? 😂

No, I think I have only caused one myself because some slipped while holding it for me but the others where just something I fixed. But don’t worry there is plenty of other things that I do wrong for sure that I refuse to think are wrong yet and I’ll continue to do. This one though oh no sir, it’s definitely everyone else….😁
