I’ve just discovered your videos. There great and educational. There also really entertaining. Thanks very much for making them.
@@user-uh9ud1xu1l I’m glad you found us and thank you very much. I appreciate those kind words. I’ll keep doing my best to improve and share what I can.
Johnny what's up how you doing brother getting into four strokes now huh👌👀👍
She ride it, it goes just fine...he rides it, you can hear the clutch slipping the whole time...lol
Yeah it’s freakin funny to me too, it takes almost three of her to equal on me. And the bike definitely noticed the difference lol. But that new shock didn’t care either way.
I owned a 1976 Indian dirt bike. 76. Cc. Crazy torque, 5 sppeed climb 4 stories in coal mine stripper pits.. 14 newton meters. Look at old minarelli engine specs..
another thing you could do to lower the temperature is add a little extra oil to the gas
which engine is on the bike your're riding here? I may want one
The blue GT I BUILT HERE is just a basic 80cc with a 38mm stroke. Most people say that the 40mm is bett but I get much more life out of the 38 and I get more rpm without as much stress too. In my opinion for a daily that you are going to to ride a lot you need more rpm then low end power so you have many more carefree miles of riding.
Hey Jonny would a mz65 fit on 100cc motor and when I took off the top end the rod said 80 is it a 80cc or 100cc
Well I’m assuming it says more then just 80 on it like af80 zl80 or something. But the size is dictated by the bore of the cylinder and how many cc’s the combustion chamber has and bore and I take but to be honest I don’t know all the facts on how to determine the size of the top of my head. Either way easiest way to figure it out is what size is the piston is in its circumference. Is it a one piece cylinder or two piece. But the mz65 should fit most motors just not the phantom or avenger or the built train. All other your good to go. If you have any other questions feel free to tap the link in the description for he group or the group chat and you can get me there easily.
@@JMB676 thank you man good stuff I have a two piece had it for 3 years works good dont have much mods on it just waiting on piston and rings I have a carburetor Np dont know the size that came with it but it works great up hill but sucks on a flat road I'll appreciate the info thank bro I love your video all the way ...
Your a good man for fixing All this stuff for everyone. They are lucky to have you around! Thanks brother. (Kenyon)
Liking the name change I think it suits you well concerning your bike. Thanks to brother I try to help as much as possible but I’m getting paid so it’s worth the time for the most part. Well maybe not for that dirtbike but I enjoyed playing with it so I got the fun from it too loo
Alright. You can do it! Clutch may annoy you, but hey it's the game. Nice to see you around and kicking.
@@leonardarola thanks brother
Your 🎤 blows
@@Oldredmofo your are the only person that didn’t like it, everyone else said it’s much better then others.
Im gonna build a bike soon.
Great work!!!! Heck yeah fun project!!
Good work my man and that little dirt bike is very cool😊
Thanks it really was a fun lil toy.
Great work getting the mini dirt bike running 👍
ok now that you have your 4 stroke cherry broken when we going to see a 212 predator build on a bike . come on you know you want to . hi heather great seeing you dear .
@@diydarkmatter yeah I know you really think the four strokes are the tickets but they just have no soul in my opinion. They just sound like a little tractor or lawnmower so this was really just working on it for the Customer so that they’re nieces and nephews could play with it, but usually people go to four strokes because they’re more reliable, but in my case two strokes that I build are so reliable that they are starting to bore me and I am manufacturing issues on purpose just to work on it because the motors on my bikes that I ride every day just don’t break. I guess that’s kind of a brag because I don’t know many other people in the community can say they’re riding they’re two stroke motor 15,000 to 20,000 miles with literally not one Issue, so I will be changing my motor up for another two stroke and just changing it up for fun because I want to just to have something to do it’s kind of a brag in a weird way, but there’s just not other people saying that their motors are running for that many miles every day with no issues so I love my two strokes brother, but there will be a four stroke on my rig when I finally get around to building itmore than likely it will be a four stroke because I wanna have the real low power that it will provide and it might because I wanna make it all wheel drive so we’ll see
@@JMB676 hey to each there own johnnie buddy . i think once you start using a four stroke you will like it alot . maybe im wrong hey it happens . lol . ether way it would be nice to see you do a four stroke build . maybe give it to heather you know you want her to have reliable wheels . twist and go action . dependable no worry rides no mixing gas and oil just fill it and go . alright in all honesty i just want you to build a four stroke lol . hi heather lol .
That's a pretty sweet late 90s GT Timberline. Just picked up the same exact bike but in green about a month ago for $100 off Craigslist. Those old mountain bikes are tough and sometimes you can find a really nice one for a fraction of what it's worth.
Nice work on that carburetor. You got that thing running good.
@@Roadscore yeah that really was a nice frame. It’s a very solid bike. I was a little sad to give it up but knowing who it was going to, I knew he treated it well and it’s a larger frame so it fit him good so it worked out good and I’m happy he likes it, but it is a nice little frame.
Good stuff 👍
The audio is much more clear in this video. That's cool. Any luck with the hydraulic clutch?
@@dominikweber4005 I used a different lapel mic this time. I too liked it more.
@@dominikweber4005 I just realized you never answered your other part of the question about the clutch. But no, there is no news about it. It’s still sitting in the exact same spot waiting for me to build the motor that I’m gonna put it on and try to use it with to be honest the past two months I barely upload Cuz. I just didn’t have time or I just wasn’t able to take time out to do it because going through some real hardships emotionally and just trying to cope with everything and it’s hard so everything has taken a big step back and to be honest with you. I am honestly thinking about taking a break from KZread and focusing up on other stuff because I have to it’s not definite, but it is something I am thinking about, but I will let you know when I do use the clutch and I will share the experience with you for sure have no fear about it I still have the love for the hobbyI just don’t have the time to do it I want
@@JMB676 no worries that's understandable. Sorry to hear that. Im working a lot again and didn't have much time either for my bike or anything else.
Nice 👍 work
in what way did it run very badly?
@@larryshaver3568 I was told it ran very poirly, low power and slow speed and no torque with a slow rev and got very hot. Basically everything bad that could be.
It's a darn shame that you couldn't get some kind of a business loan to actually manufacture those engines in the USA instead of China. You definitely have the passion and the zeal for this industry.
@@user-sz2wg7lj4v maybe one day but for now I’ll have to settle on buy from china but making it right in America.
There is a particular high temp gasket material you can buy in rolls that has been perfect for head gaskets for me. Been using it for years when I want as thin a gasket as possible. One time use though after torquing and heating it falls apart when you remove the head. Haven't had one fail yet and one has been on a pk80 being used for years.
i came though Elizabeth on the train in 1998
What did You use to make the dimples in the piston? Ball end mill? or just a drill bit?
Very cool video! Nice work on the Piston. I would like to see how You balanced the crank? Looking forward to seeing the finished bike! These Little Minarelli's can putout some power with the right porting! They are really fun to build! 👍
i tried to join facebook for a while now with no luck 1:22 I never receive the verification email they send me to sign in. watching a lot of yourr older videos.
@@Paul_Gale careful the old videos are full of really bad info lol.
i have 1 to hard to start my yd100 what mix oil and gas
I use 3.2 oz. Per gallon of fuel.
Please buy a hub mounted sprocket kit. The best $50 you'll ever spend. Once I bought a sprocket kit it's like night and day. That rag joint is dangerous.
I don’t know y people say that. I have never had a problem with them and I personally like them and if I’m saving 50 dollars then I def will. I feel most people don’t tighten them enough and that’s why people say they’re dangerous.
Where did you get the 90degree cutting handle from? I’d like something like that for myself.
I never got a Covid shot and so far didn't need one 😊😢😮😮
I shaved the heads on 2 of my engines and you talk about horsepower.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😅
Purple nightmare your fastest bike I &I need to come to Jersey for you. As you were
@@sealeyscience6181 it’s fast but it’s not even close to my fastest atm. It’s my third top speed fastest. My daily Jokester has highest top speed but only by a lil bit it beats out Tweaker. But because of gearing Purple Nightmare is fastest off the line. I will be changing the motor soon and putting its real motor back on soon once I built the pipe for it. That will be a fun time and it should be the fastest bike then by a lot I’m expecting.
I run without the cap on at all it still runs like shit
@@patrickElliott-ui1bp well if it’s running like shit then there’s a press on. Cap or not it should run well, so if you need help figuring it out let me know or if you want a motor built that will run really well let me know.

You rode up on that Peddler like a road warrior. I thought you were going to just bump him out of the way. He looked back like what the f*** is that😂
@@Roadscore I try not to be pushy so that’s why I rev a lot as I come up in them so not to scare them but he didn’t want to move. I didn’t realize till I turned and seen it from the side but that was an electric bike he rode I think it was a conversation kit though.
I seen that too..I've been commuting with my 85 v3. Only ran a tank of 26 to 1 thru it so far. Definitely a hog. Most the time I'm riding my 72v surron Lbx. Good vid.
@@alangoodrich6590 I hear those surrons are fast lil buggers.
Amazing Video Johnnie! Yeah the crank seals are bad, you can hear it clearly the surging. I'm excited for the Phantom 85. And, the 110cc "rebuild" now that you mentioned it. Amazing! Love from the Czech Republic from Matthew
@@Matthew-wj8cm thanks for watching from across the world. I hope you’re in the group on Facebook so you can upload what the bike scene is like in that part of the world. The phantom is , well is not good and always breaking but we will make it right and the 110 “rebuild won’t be what you think but that’s also kind of of misleading sorta cause yes I will be rebuilding it but then selling it immediately but only because I’m also going to to be building another 110 way better and different. Can’t wait to get it done.
@@JMB676 Always excited for a vid Johnnie!
Holy shit you're looking way younger than your old videos whatever you've been doing it's working well.

@@MotorizedChuck well to be honest my first vids were all with my phone and about a year in I got a very old GoPro 3 silver and that was up till about last year maybe a few months before that and it worked great. If I can give advice whatever you get just make sure it’s a real GoPro brand old or new preferably a 5 or new is the best option for sure. They can be wireless and way easier to use. Also if you need any help just text me and I’ll do my best to help.
Thanks for the drive. It's rainy here so I enjoyed it. And,! Good to see another Phantom 85v3 on her bike. I presume you took the precautions I mentioned prior to full install?
@@MotorizedChuck brother I did nothing to the motor before installing it. If I would have done that then I wouldn’t be able to find the true problems with this motor and wouldn’t be able to build you a proper reliable motor. I need to know as many of the faults as possible and to be honest I wish I had a year with this motor before I built yours but I really think with the info I gathered and the studying I been doing online and in books I can start to fix the longevity problem with these. Or I hope so at least. I would love to say yeah I got this and I know all but it’s just not true at all. I don’t want the first modified phantom to come from me to be a POS and I don’t want you to have problems with it. So I definitely took extra time to read up on a few things that I was thinkin and I truly think we got a real winner now. I just need to get the math right so it all works together…..so to speak.
