Im very new to this, so when some parts fell during a mistake, I didn’t even know there was supposed to be a ball bearing in the clutch. After 10 minutes on my hands and knees with a flashlight, I found it, and everything’s the way it ought to be! Thanks a ton!

Wrecked my creation a couple days ago and I've had nothing but trouble ever-since. Clutch, chain & wheels have been wonky since the accident Wheels were taco'ed beyond repair so replacement mags are on order. Chain keeps breaking and you just showed me how to fix the clutch. So thanks a lot. I'll be keeping an eye out for you, from now on.

You are the Master! I'm a real nube when it comes to clutches, I can do plenty of other troubleshooting, but this is new ground for me. I tried starting my engine as soon as it was all assembled, thankfully your many faceted and terrific instruction shed light on the issue! The factory assemblywas too tight and I could not disengage enough to get up to speed enough to start the engine or even check the spark. Now all is well! I really enjoyed your video presentation and I am now a better 2 stroke hobby mechanic and can take care of another issue using your hard earned knowledge. I will promote your channel and watch more!

On my son's bike, the clutch releases ok and the wheel turns freely with the clutch handle pulled, but when you let off the clutch, the wheel continues to turn (stiffer, as it would if the clutch was only partly on, but not stiff enough to turn the motor over to start it). The clutch is fully off, as it does the same thing when the clutch cable is disconnected. Do I need to adjust the preload spring to fix this?

hey, i got a pretty new bike built and its doing this every ride. have adjusted the cable and flower nut several times. works to get me going, but after every ride the rear wheel is locked up again. i will try and get at the preload as you suggest maybe. ya think that might be the cause? or any other ideas? *i die* after all the time and money to build this thing and i cant get out and enjoy it.

Gotta tell ya. I love the no holding back on the cursing. It’s like I’m in my shop without my kids. Will be building one for me and one for my 6 year old. The five year old just got a used mini motorcycle, putting these on my and my 6 yr olds Schwinn Stingray Choppers. Didn’t know I’d be teaching her how to run a clutch just yet, figured they were centrifugal. I’ll be checking out your other vids. Thank you for the content.

I'm doing my first build. I haven't messed with bikes since I was a teen. 65 yo now. Problem I've encountered is an incredibly stiff pull on the hand controls to release the clutch. I've got a firm handshake too. I've seen times I had to pull hard on the handle then reach down and pull another quarter inch or so on the clutch arm for the wheel to roll freely. I'm not sure how to properly reduce the pressure required. After watching this clip (thank you) I think I can accomplish this by turning the flower nut a notch or few. Clockwise or counter not sure at the moment. Dabs of axle grease here and there advisable I know. Please advise. Thanks. It's the Bikeberry 48cc BBR Tuning. Going on a Switz Cruz. Looks pretty cool.

You do not want tight bends in clutch cable. That will cause clutch to be hard to operate. Nice, slow open bends so don't tie wrap cable to make it look all neat and tidy

So I’m having issues with my clutch cable arm hitting my down tube. I know the arm shouldn’t be going near it but I can’t for the life of me get the arm parallel with the engine when engaged. I’ve replaced both the camshaft rod and clutch cable arm and had to assemble them myself. Did I possibly fuck up the assembly and get the angle of the camshaft rod wrong or could it be related to the preload in the jackshaft? Maybe the bucking bar is worn out? Help please!
