I found that you can use a fine toothed comb to speed up the process if pulling the threads is difficult.

Jesus I must be losing a brain cell. I'm trying to figure out how to shred clothes and trying to save money as possible. This method is waaaay better and given me an idea. Also for you to give it a try. Go to a hardware store such as home Depot or Ace and to the lumber section they gave metal braces and they have a flat brace with spike metal and they are sharp. That would be a useful tool. Just an idea. This is great.

@xlalalaa12 maybe if you checked out her miu miu collar video you'll get some ideas like you can cut the colar off a dress shirt and then stud it (like hers in this video) and then wear it over the neackline? Idk if that makes sense but hope it helped :)
