    @Robert Bandy build is a broad term. Technically this qualifies. Copied from my Google search "car build definition" "A vehicle build is the vehicles entire progression and includes engine modification, internal modification or restoration, aesthetic modification or restoration, and additional work that is done to a vehicle to reach a final "vision." Being built, is motor modification."

  • @xRSAkingx

    @xRSAkingx

    3 жыл бұрын

    @Robert Bandy it's not a check list bud. You can build a car without touching the engine. It's changing anything on the car to REACH THE FINAL VISION. Which is different for everyone. When's the last time you had a build, friend? I've done everything from a frame of LS swap that you see in my profile pic, to simply replacing the boring exhaust and headlights on my truck to make it my final vision. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And that beauty is in their own respective builds.

    Hi guys, the cause of this paint peel is that the previous painter didn’t sealed the bumper with a special plastic primer. You have to degrease it first with a plastic degreaser to “soften” the material after that you need to scotchbrite it. No sandpaper needed, it came obviously new so not damaged. After that redegreased and primed. And then paint and clear. Greetings from Belgium. Love your channel, best content! I would love to give you a hand on your projects, but the ride home after a day of work would be a long one!!!

I have to say, I’ve been a huge fan of what you guys do for a while now, but your new approach to content is excellent and more car based channels should emulate you. Great car I love mine. The paint on the front bumper is cheap as seen in the video for some reason, I have some of the same problems but not nearly as harsh. Rocks will hit the bumper and chip paint at high speeds but nothing a little touch up paint can’t fix well enough. The interior is pleasing to look at. Amazing leather seating. Some of the plastic feels cheap but most of it is well done. Back seat is very small so don’t expect to be hauling 4 fairly sized people very often. I love the interior design though aside from the overuse of plastic where there is no leather. Makes me feel like I’m in a Lexus. The driving experience is amazing imo. I love taking tight corners at high speeds with it, the fwd is great for pulling through turns and the light body weight makes it so there is absolutely no body roll whatsoever. However, in a straight line you aren’t gonna be winning any races! The car gets up to speed though so don’t think it’s too slow for daily use and merging into traffic it has plenty of power for casual usage. The small size males lane changing easy in small spaces and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been able to squeeze into a turn left only lane where a truck couldn’t fit! Parking is so easy you can park this thing anywhere no problem. The hatch back is great for daily use and this car has single handedly made me want a hatchback for my next cars to come! One thing I’ll note is the suspension is very stiff so hitting a pothole hurts everytime whereas a truck could brush it off, you’ll know you hit something in this little guy! (Very easy to dodge things in the road though since the width of the car is so small you could fit 1.75 of the car in 1 lane.) I love the car. Great on the wallet. Dealership maintenance can get pricy but that’s the cost of driving a luxury car and having the reliability of a Lexus. I’ve seen many of these last more than 100k miles and I’m hoping that mine is no exception! Feel free to ask me questions about the care if u need to, hope I could help! :)

    @@gisellejoseph1824 Greattt! Okay so please give me a suggestion, I found a 2012 ct , single owner , well taken care of, every single service done at lexus dealership, 1,50 k kms for 15 grand here in ontario, canada. There is no maintained car left these days under 10 grand ( sadly ). I feel it is a little expensive for 15 grand but even if I sell it ( which I don't think I will ) in two years, I will not lose a lot of money. Do you think I should go for it?

    What an improvment. Classic black 5 spoke on a white car is a good look!

    Looks killer! I use that same alignment equipment at work, top tip, if a car is super low you can zip tie the alignment heads to the wheels, I do it all the time!

    It was refreshing to see this video since I actually own a CT as well and there’s not really a lot of content on them out there. There a great daily driver, good job on this one guys

    boys the new style of fast install content is gold. Very entertaining great choice. But we all still like the full on in depth vidz too.

    Definitely poorly done paint work. All Toyota bumper covers come in raw plastic. They need to be baked through a booth cycle to off-gas any remaining mold release agents. Then they need to be scuffed and re-cleaned. Once they are in the booth: they require an application of an adhesion promoter, then a primer sealer, then your typical base/clear- the flex additive/agent normally gets added into the clear coat.

    I just got my 2011 Ct a month or so ago after my TC got totaled. My Ct is black but I want it wrapped white so bad with a lip. I wish I watched this video before I purchased my tires yesterday. Love that you feature this model and modifications! I’d honestly buy another when the time comes.
