Literally the best hair cut tutorial I have found since this lockdown. If I found this back in march my husbands hair wouldnt look like a shambles right now. This video is better than the video they provide in the online barbering course I am doing!

This is great thank you! My husband came home today holding hair clippers. He asked, "Honey, I was wondering if you might cut my hair from now on. Is that alright?" Nervous I said Sure, do you trust me? He said very assuredly, "of course you can do anything, you put your mind to." I was so impressed and full of joy to know he thinks that way about me. Lolol Now I must learn how to do it.

Believe me this is by far the easiest way to cut a man's hair. Very easy to remember too i didnt need to look up the tutorial during the cutting process. I have cut my husband's hair during this lockdown for 4 times, and he hated the 1st 3 haircuts so for the 4th time I tried this tutorial and he just loved the haircut!! He didn't make a fuss at all like he always did. I am so happy thank you to you xx

thanks for this, im about to cut my boyfriends hair for the first time and im nervous lol but this makes total sense now. we have clippers but never used them because he always just went to the barber but with covid we are worried about having him go out (he just finished chemo, and his hair grew back fast!)

During this pandemic I have gone a few times to have my haircut by the same wonderful woman, but as time has gone on, it's become a bit more frightening as I see many of our local citizens disregard the necessary steps to make us all safer. Clear and concise explaining the concepts and instructions… wish I had seen this years ago… hopefully my husband’s hair will look better now! I just get so flustered when I transition sections. I will try to go slowly and remember these steps. Thank you!

This is such a great hair cut tutorial! Thank you so much! I would have never imagined cutting my husband's hair myself but after seeing this we both got the confidence to try and I am so surprised by how well the haircut turned out. It isn't perfect but given that this was my first experience using a razor and we have scissors that are ordinarily for cutting paper... I just can't believe how well this turned out.

Finally a video that shows how you are suppose to cut the hair on the top section of the head. I have learned so much by watching just this one video. Congrats on such a great tutorial video 👏👏👏

I've watched a ton of haircut videos since March and tried every method out there while cutting my boys' hair, and this was by far the best and fastest. My god, I wish I had found this first! All the others were so demoralizing, took too long to even out and would still end up with so-so results (if I was lucky). On the first try, this video's method came out better than all the rest. Thank you for this video, my Dad was a barber his entire adult life, his father was a barber. He had no intention of becoming barber but while in the Navy 1946 , his superior asked what his father ( when he was alive)did for a living David responded , "he was a barber". The Navy saids " great, you Can cut hair on the ship now. " When he got out he went to Barber school on the G.I Bill. He told me he tried Beauty school first. He raised two families with a total of 6 children providing for them by cutting hair. For a time in the late 60s - 70s he had a barber shop downtown Houston neat the courthouses. One summer I rode the bus downtown and hung around his shop. Watch my Dad and his customers. It was a fascinating world for a 12 yr old girl. So this brings me to today, I started cutting my husbands hair at the beginning of Covid. Practice is a great teacher. I decided to up my skill with the use of clippers. My husband has beautiful silver hair. I cut it in the style of 1930s. A small bowl at the top and shave sides and Back. I think he looks like an FBI detective . Thanks again. L. Bowen

Wonderful tutorial! I am so glad I came across it. My husband and brother-in-law stopped going to the barber shop in March 2020. I bought a medium priced professional hair clipping set. It was ment for a licensed hair stylist to use, not me. I watched a few You Tube videos and jumped in. My poor guys the first couple of times! Now I can give an acceptable cut, but this tutorial really helped me to the next stage. Thank you! ~ Diane

You're a godsend and I can't thank you enough for your clear and helpful instructions on how to go ahead and do this!!!

Finally, I found a real, simple tutorial that is easy to follow and understand... Thank you! Could you do a similar tutorial for simple women haircuts on short (neck-to-shoulder length) straight or slightly wavy hair? Just how to remove excess length without damaging the thin hairs or making it looking too short accidentially?

I did this after watching your video. My results were more of an indoor stay at home.

This is a great video! I have cut my husband's hair before and it was a disaster. Not only did it not come out like either of us wanted but my technique included the use of the wrong tools that pulled his hair and one time nicked his head causing bleeding. I purchased proper tools including actual hair cutting scissors. This time it turned out better than what his barber was able to do which made my husband and I happy without the pain of our past DIY attempts or the disappointment of not getting the look we wanted him to have from the barber. Thank you!
