Frequently Asked Questions:
- How are Quick Covers installed?
Quick Covers are installed with a combination of automotive-grade adhesive tape and fasteners.
- What are Quick Covers made out of?
Quick Covers are formed from a very durable thermoplastic. Similar to the material used on OEM wheel flares and moldings.
- Can I install them myself?
Yes. Quick Covers can be installed easily, but professional installation is strongly recommended.
- Where can I get Quick Covers installed?
Search Here for an installer near you.
- Can't find an installer near you?
Ask your local body shops to reach out to us.
- Do Quick Covers come painted?
No. Quick Covers are delivered in raw plastic form at this time.
- Is professional painting required?
No. However, because Quick Covers are delivered in raw plastic form, they must be primed with a very specific product. Use of any other primer will result in adhesion issues resulting in paint cracks/peeling. For this reason, professional painting is strongly recommended.
- Should Quick Covers be scuffed or sanded before being primed?
No. Quick Covers are intended to be coated with a specialty raw plastic primer, which is intended to be applied directly onto the smooth plastic surface. It offers excellent adhesion and flex properties.
- What primer should be used on Quick Covers products?
Quick Covers are delivered in raw plastic form, so a raw plastic-compatible primer must be used. We recommend Polyvance Bumper & Cladding Coat - Adhesion Primer. Part No. 3611-1
- What should be used as a rust inhibitor?
We recommend brushing a high-viscosity grease on any areas that can be reached by hand. For hard-to-reach areas (i.e. inside of rocker panels and cab corners) we recommend using the aerosol rust inhibitor Like90.

Yes. I cut out all the rust I could and used spray rust remover all over the place and then primed it. I bought the "quick covers" and put them on and it looks like brand new. Structurally it's still a piece of plastic but it does look great. High priced for a piece of plastic but again it looks great and won't rust! Have a great day.

@@colbybryant6628 Sounds like yours is in a little worse shape than mine is. A different company has the whole lower door frame in a thick plastic but I'm not sure what you could attach that to. Maybe time for a weld shop. Good luck!
Wished they made them for pre2000 trucks. They would kill it here in the east
I know you make stuff for trucks. But could I possibly have one specially made for an 06 fusion? But in the same format as the f150 in the video
My ford Expedition 2007 has the same problem, rusted running boards. This seems like a good fix.

They are available in black textured finish that does not need to be painted. See here: oamusa.com/collections/04-08-f-150-crew/products/2004-2008-f-150-crew-cab-rocker-cover-kit?variant=30709962965124
does this require the rocker underneath to be fully intact? I have some rust holes that I want to cut out, not very much, about the size of a quarter, to prevent the rust from spreading. I'll likely spray the inside with some form of rustoleum. Then slide these over for a clean look. 2010 f150, extended cab.

Ideally, you'll have some good sections of the lower pinch weld to rivet the cover in place. If the lower pinch weld is too rusty, we'd recommend adding some metal so you have a solid surface to rivet to. We offer bracket kits for GM models, but do not yet have brackets available for Fords. The Quick Covers for your vehicle are avaialable here: oamusa.com/collections/2009-2014-f-150-super-cab
These look like they could tear or get a hole in it with anything. Whats this made of a tampon?
Even though these are for the F150, could it work on the expeditions? I have a 2011 xlt expedition.

Sorry, but it will not work for anything other than what it is designed for.
Hello, where can I find that plastic kit?
How about before after pictures, this kits run about $300-$400 😲
Was the rocker pre painted? Or do you guys paint them?

Our smooth covers require paint, we ship them in raw form
Leaving the plastic sill plate underneath was a nice touch. Aren’t they just taped on?

The top and sides use the tape. At the 2:03 mark, you would rivet the bottom side to the pinch weld flange before installing the running board. Rivets are included for this. That is the reason for all the clamps. You will drill holes for the rivets spaced across the whole length and then install the rivets.
Hi. Do you have one for 2006 ford expedition? Thanks

I own a 2010 Lariat and it's well maintained and washed. The interior has been covered since the first week I bought it new. Needless to say I'm sick seeing the rot on the drivers rocker. Seems like a cheap fix and unload it.
