If I had 5 minutes to teach a golfer, this is what I'd teach them:
3 simple steps that you can take to improve your golf swing. These steps are easy to learn and can be implemented immediately, so you'll start seeing results right away.
The 3 steps are:
Correct body angles and weight pressure in setup. This is the foundation of a good golf swing, so it's important to get it right. Make sure your spine is tilted slightly forward, your weight is evenly distributed between your feet, and your arms are hanging relaxed at your sides.
A more efficient and easier backswing. Many golfers make their backswing too long and complicated. This can lead to inconsistency and loss of power. Instead, focus on making a smooth, controlled backswing that doesn't go too far past parallel.
Consistent contact sequence. This is the key to hitting the ball consistently well. Make sure you make contact with the ball in the center of the clubface and that your swing path is slightly in to out.
