You forgot the most important step. Is too freeze the sticks. For at least 3-4hrs. Cheese melted too fast before the crust had time to cook.

My kids ❤ mozzarella sticks 😋!! Making them homemade is always better with fresh ingredients. You can't buy fresh mozzarella sticks from any grocery store or restaurant that's in my area! So I rather make them homemade!
