I pray the rosary every day. I have a lot of trouble concentrating. I have Parkinson's and dementia. Please pray for me so I could concentrate on the mysteries. Thank you.

Keep trying to pray the rosary as per normal, but now when you encounter difficulty or feel stress or frustration, dedicate that difficulty to God. The stress you feel is essentially a form of suffering, and so can be offerred up. Doing this might actually make your prayer more meritorious than it would be without the suffering. Suffering, if approached in the right way, can sanctify us.

I also converted in May this year after 15 years attending mass. Congrats to us! I have started praying the rosary also and wow! I see it as guided meditation and it is changing me drastically for the better. Glory be to God!

I will say the rosary while I’m cleaning house. It makes the housework go faster and more pleasurable. Mary is helping me clean!

Sisters, please pray for my nephew and niece, Stephen and Elizabeth, who lost their six months old baby, Lucas Anthony, to cancer in April.

I was blessed with an encounter with Jesus recently in a dream and the beauty extended into my day and during my rosary time. What a heavenly time it was too. I got a glimpse of the total and complete love of the heart of Jesus for us and was in complete adoration. He loves us so much it’s unbelievable.

I'm happy for you encountered Jesus our saviour. Continue seeking his strength and his face and the Joy of salvation. Believe or not you don't need praying with rosary. Jesus didn't teached about praying with rosary. There's no state rosary in the bible. He knows before you pray. Jesus is the only mediator. Jesus give you wisdom and knowledge and understanding. Remember how great you encountered Jesus in your life. Means you must accept Him as your saviour. Pray direct to Jesus ,pray without ceasing. That's what Jesus needed from you. Come draw nearer to Him. God bless you.

Don't give up and continue praying the rosary. Almost 2 yrs ago my son told me he no longer believed in God. I started praying every day and Glory to God he came back to Mass this past spring and last night attended the First Friday devotion. God is great! May our blessed Mother Mary stir a yearning in your daughters heart for peace in God 🙏

Now in my 60's and returning to the Church....the Rosary broke a decades long addiction that I couldn't shake. Nothing worked but praying the Rosary finally, I repeat finally, freed me from that slavery. Amen.

Me too. I had an addiction to pornography for DECADES...until I had an NDE that terrified me. My priest got me to do 2 things: begin professional counseling to understand the how any addition works, and to pray the rosary daily. It took me a few months to really get it to be a regular part, as I would do it for a few days, then slip a day, etc. Once I started seeing the effects, improvements that I could not attribute to anything else, I was hooked. It has changed my life, and in many more ways than just the addiction.

Saying the Our Father and Hail Mary prayers very slowly with my eyes closed has helped me tremendously to meditate on the mysteries. Also in the Hail Mary, when you say the Holy name of Jesus, I pause and say something to remind me of the mystery: Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus, who was scourged at the pillar for us, Holy Mary, Mother of God.........

If you have a loved one with anxiety and/or depression please pray a rosary to Our Lady of Sorrows for emotional and spiritual healing. Fr. Ripperger says she is very powerful. Ask her help through her own mystical agony and passion during the agony and passion of her Divine Son.

I have just returned from a visit to the Sanctuary of Fatima.. and by the guidance of the Holy Spirit have been led to listen to this explanation on meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary.. henceforth I know praying the Rosary will be more meaningful and grace-filled. Please pray for my daughter coping with anxiety and depression. She no longer attends holy Mass. she was a cathequist, extreme eucharistic minister and lector. She doesnt socialize and separates herself from interacting with family who love her dearly. She works thank God but thats about it. I love her so much and feel guilty that maybe I didnt see her when she was a child and experiencing loneliness, abandonment and not understood by everyone. Shes a good woman and Im sure she loves us a lot but cant express it because of her pain. Please pray that she opens up to someone of faith and caring that can walk with her so she may heal. I cry frequently because its difficult to see her this way and being able to help her. I try to imitate Mother Mary in her silence and love her until shes ready to heal. She doesnt love herself. Mercy Lord 🙏🏼

It happens to all parents, you would give anything to have them be healed and finally find peace. What's worked for me also is meditating on how I can submit my will to God (annunciation), how I can serve and love other people (visitation), what I can give up or what I can do do practice detachment (nativity), ask Mother Mary to present my sufferings, petitions, and thanksgiving to God (presentation at the temple), ask Mary to always lead me to Jesus, not to be separated from Him, realizing always that Jesus is truly present in the tabernacle. "Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?" (finding Jesus).

Thank GOD I've found your site..it is now 2024..I felt called back to the church after 43 years...at my last confession I had just talked to father about this very thing

The most powerful moment I have ever had was contemplating and pretending I was sitting in the tomb with Jesus during the 3 days, before He rose again. With His slain human body. I was very afraid at first. I had a thought on my heart that many people would also be afraid of that moment and place, but I’d recommend it if you can be brave, it’s a place not many people want to be. It’s very quiet and special and intimate. Just to be clear, this is not a place I would ever choose to be or go mentally- I do not watch scary movies or horror and gore, I am scared of death and dead bodies. I am Jewish, I was raised Jewish, we do not even show bodies during funerals. It did feel that it came upon me, and I feel it helped me face my fear of death.

I have done the same but imagining myself in the Scourging, the crowing with Thorns and carrying the Cross as if I was looking through the eyes of Jesus. It is guaranteed to bring you to the realisation of how much he suffered for us. I couldn't stop the tears the first time I tried it. Even now as I type, just thinking on the experience is getting me emotional. Before anyone walks away thinking its all uncomfortable, imagine yourself kneeling next to Mary at the Annunciation or with the Holy Family in the manger, are two of the most peaceful experiences you can have on a regular basis. Edit- I was doing this without realising that St. John Paul 2, taught on this. I realise now how much grace I had been given.

The Holy Rosary brings such peace and it brings comfort. Thank you for this wonderful video.

The great St. Bernard, Doctor of the Church, gives us the correct method of praying the Rosary and if adopted, surprising results will follow. He states in his writing on the subject: "While your lips pronounce the words let your mind 'picture' the Mystery-not as an event which took place centuries ago, but as events taking place NOW in your presence. In each mental picture thus formed, see also yourself there in the scene, studying the scene." St. Bernard warns us not to change the mental 'picture' but let it remain unchanged. He states that if the 'picture' is recalled without change, it will become more lifelike. During your course of coming to a deeper understanding of The Rosary, a clearer mental picture of each Mystery will be attained if only one meditation on a mystery is studied each day. Better effects may result, if someone would read aloud each of the meditations on the different mysteries while the others of the family listen. After several weeks, the various members of the family could take turns at reading the meditations so that all may share alike the opportunity to profit from the Scriptural promise: "Faith comes through hearing." We cannot come to KNOW the Rosary unless WE PRAY THE ROSARY (PROPERLY & PERFECTLY)

It can be confusing as there is so much controversy surrounding him, but we as Catholics know this is just part of it & our part is to pray for him. ✝️💟🛐

​@terry9026 IT IS JESUS who is in the Holy Rosary, as where Jesus is his Mother is, even at the Cross, and where his Mother is Jesus is, which is why he gave her to us as Mother from the Cross. Mary strengthens Jesus' presence in us by saying in our hearts: "Do what he tells you to do", something that so few really and actually do these days.

I love this so much! I’m starting RCIA this fall and I’ve been making rosaries for all of my future RCIA fellow students. I have been trying to say the rosary every night. Like you mentioned, the dryness, but I’m doing it and I’m hoping to deepen my faith through it and get more from it at time goes by. I really love the depth and beauty of the Catholic faith. I feel like I can never learn it all, which I kind of enjoy because I love learning. I have the rest of my life to keep learning and growing. ❤

I LOVE ROSARY. My favourite Mistery Rosary is SORROWFUL, cause when I meditate on it, it shows me how big Jesus Loves for us ; giving HIMSELF to save us, He falls 3 times; HE didn't give up. On the Cross in agony HE ask HIS FATHER, our LORD to forgive us" FATHER forgive them for they didn't know what they are doing". Thank you both Sisters. I’m committed to saying the rosary everyday. I do place myself there, but I always dread Tuesdays & Fridays due to the Sorrowful mysteries. I have a hard time getting to the Cross. It’s hard to make the journey up that hill. But how I get through it is reliving the scene from The Passion of Christ when Mary is following the crowd as JESUS was carrying the cross & her fierce gaze as satan was on the other side of the roadway & he knows she sees him. I am one of the women whose very being is sickened to be making that journey along with Jesus & I’m aware that satan knows I see him too. But it is so difficult to get through the nailing. JESUS, have mercy on us all. I love YOU JESUS . And I love you Sisters❤️. GOD BLESS YOUR MINISTRY ✝️💟🛐

Nice talk. You're right the enemy does not want you to pray with the Rosary. When I first started I could barely get through on decade. Pat will tell you that I'm not the best of gentleman but the ugly thoughts that were coming into my mind about Mary was shocking. I couldn't believe how strong and intrusive these thoughts were and then in came to me that it was the enemy not wanting me to pray with the Rosary. The enemy really, really hates Mother Mary. You're as well that perseverance will get you through the rough times. The Rosary is now the center of my daily life.

Remember, if you can't beat it, bead it.

I can relate to this video, when I say the rosary, sometimes I do say it “mechanically “ but when I put myself into the “story “, I am there! I’m in the mystery, with all the feelings relating to each mystery. The joyful are my favorite because I know the joy of motherhood. Putting my self into the other mysteries is an amazing experience as well. Thank you Blessed Mary, Jesus and Joseph and God the Father. Amen.

When I get off track while praying the rosary, I will close my eyes and picture myself on my knees in the presence of Mary placing a rose at her feet while reciting. This typically gets my mind back on to the respective mystery. I’m not ashamed to say this happens quite often.

I have been struggling with spiritual dryness and darkness especially as I see my sweet aging mother suffering from seizures and physical pain and my gentle hearted teenage son suffering with mental anguish and physical pain as well. I pray the rosary every day, started over a year ago and love it. I like to find artwork that depicts each mystery and look at it during the decade I'm praying. I find my mind doesn't wander as much that way

I'm so glad to hear this video. I visited my friend's church today and their preacher flat said "catholic was wrong" . I gave him grace because he is a new pastor just out of school. But I proudly have my rosary in my pocket

Thank you sisters for your guidance,our Lady called me to start praying the Rosary during covid,I too used KZread to help at the beginning and also stumbled, but Our Blessed Mother had changed my life,I pray the Rosary daily, and Love it, I won't be without it,and have just consecrated myself to Jesus through Mary. And I realized, despite my love for the Rosary, I really, in my heart, I didn't really KNOW, or how to appreciate it. Rosary is my everything to me n my family

Thera are so many ways and methods one can say the Rosary with little distractions or our mind wandering from one thing to another. A method I use is to smile. Yes , I smile, even if I'm on the sorrowful mysteries. Why ? Because Mary is also smiling at me for saying the rosary 📿 🙂. So we're smiling at each other. You are able to concentrate on what comes out of your mouth and also place yourself at the scene of the mystery. Has anybody ever imagined 1.3 billion Catholics saying the rosary every day. How different this world would be. I am going to say mine, and I hope others would join in from wherever they are.

What a power video, which woke me up to the poor me syndrome, which I emphasize that our rosary is our weapon, and here the enemy attacked me by not praying the rosary yesterday by getting too busy with things. the best gift my mother ever gave me was to teach me how to say the rosary. When I was young I was in church with her and I didn't have my rosary and I panicked. My mom said well you have 10 fingers right? So even now I count on my fingers and I con say the rosary anytime. Thanks Mom for the gift!!
