    Great video! Question... Any soccer games you could recommend aside from just being a goal keeper if any? 😊

  • @VRManCave

    @VRManCave

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hey mate, thanks so much for watching! I know Final Soccer VR is one of them, but I haven’t personally tried it. I think the reason you would mostly be a goal keeper is that position is the only one where you actually use your hands, since otherwise just running using a thumbstick and kicking with a button press isn’t that immersive.

    Great video man. Just one question: can you export your models from gravity sketch and, if so, can they be imported into tilt brush? I know tilt brush pc can import 3D models, just wondering if the quest ver. can

  • @VRManCave

    @VRManCave

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi mate, thanks so much for watching! Yes you can export the .OBJ object from Gravity Sketch and then import it into Tilt Brush since it's also compatible with that format, but do note that the Quest as a stand-alone is only recommended for .OBJs that are under 200MB, since it can become really difficult to process if it's larger, and the developers recommend you use the Steam/PC version if you want to work with larger 3D objects. Hope that helps!

    Does anyone know if there are any apps for quest like Tilt/Open Brush that a actually have a legit subtraction tool? All the erasers I have seen have appeared to just be brush stroke/object specific ‘undo/delete’ tools. I need to remove ‘material’ from objects; it is a basic creative requirement that makes even a perfunctory digital art program, whether 2D or 3D, capable enough for an artist to use to generate any desired result, even if it lacks 99% of the other features included in Tilt brush, providing the creator has sufficient patience and vision. Not having this function is a limitation that no amount of other features can make make up for. I’m frankly astonished it isn’t there, and I’m hoping that I’ve just stupidly missed something obvious that someone can point out to me. On the other hand, I’m equally worried that maybe I am just ignorant of how exponentially more resource hungry such a feature would make the program, and that everything produced in VR on a stand alone headset is just computationally doomed to always have the somewhat paradoxical look of both smooth icy perfection, and rudimentary finger painting.

    @lafoncedalle5334

    @@VRManCave well thank for considering my criticism constructive ^^ now I'm gonna go one step further by suggesting a technical way of (IMO) improve the dynamic quality : when you create the video and you could press the "record button", without knowing exactly what you gonna talk about... think about what you're about to present and express your excitement about about it, rational and emotional. Don't be afraid to look stupid because you have the power of later cutting everything you don't like. Record as much spontaneous expression as you can, then select the best samples and put them together. Hope you can extract something valuable here :)

    @@lafoncedalle5334 That absolutely makes sense mate, and I've been trying to do it, but I end up cutting all of it exactly because of feeling like I look or sound stupid. English obviously isn't my first language, so it's not as easy as it would probably be for a native english speaker, but if you've seen any of my earlier videos, I think there's definitely some improvement, but still a long way to go. I will try to implement your advice a lot more and see where it takes me. Thanks again for taking the time to help, I really do appreciate it! 😁

    Still not buying it. The compulsory Facebook account needs to go. Every gamer that still has some dignity won't budge to this blackmail. Having a headset bricked by a bot and lose all his games with no human supervision, and having to fight a rubber wall just to have HIS stuff back? Not. Gonna. Happen.

    I fully understand your point of view Stefano and everyone is free to do as they please. The Quest 2 has sold more units than any other VR headset in history, so there are probably enough people that, like me, don't really care about being targeted with Ads on a platform they never even access. As for the headset bricking, it happened to an extremely small percentage of people and as far as I'm aware they all got it sorted in the end. I've personally had zero issues with it so far and hopefully I won't have to go through that anytime soon, but I get your point. Thanks for watching anyway mate!

    Hey Stefano - get over the Facebook problem - there’s no way you’ll lose your account/games - as long as you are not dodgy and you are just living life as you should be, as a law abiding citizen of the world the same as the billions of people who use Facebook ( I don’t personally drop content onto Facebook much ) but if you are a dodge pot and doing stuff you shouldn’t - ie fiddling live on fb, pulling your popsicle, showing your wobbly bits, smoking members of the public , or using a light aircraft hands free, throwing firecrackers into random man bags ... you’ll be fine! Spread the Love Via Facebook and show your a human being. One question: you didn’t land here from Mars did you?

Lots of the people who had issues with their Quest due to their Facebook account actually either had fake accounts they made just for the Quest or simply happen to be unlucky and got caught by Fb's bots, but 99.99% of them got everything back without an issue.
