An honest, vulnerable exploration of the lives of LGBTQ+ characters in horror films with actor Mark Patton and writer, director, and producer Carter Smith. Mark talks about his career as a gay actor and the evolution of society's acceptance and celebration of the queer community over the decades. He has produced a documentary entitled Scream, Queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street to share the story of his career. Carter Smith has been a photographer and filmmaker with a lens on gay characters for 20+ years. Their fascinating discussion and the Q&A that followed took place after the double feature of Carter's short Bug Crush (2006) and feature Swallowed (2022) at the Eerie Horror Fest on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
