David is so warm and entertaining and informative. As an Englishman, I truly value this British, or not-quite-British, movie.

Well said and well put ! David sure comes across as nice, friendly, humble & charming. I'm old enough to remember David's fun appearances in a handful of Dr Pepper TV commercials before he appeared in this horror classic.

American Werewolf is in my top 10. It was notoriously shown by the BBC early in the evening on its TV premiere. Even John Landis commented it was an odd choice by the BBC A generation of kids stayed up in the UK to become fans that night

I remember that. My little sister was seriously shocked by the first werewolf encounter on the moor. Our parents were mortified that they'd allowed us to watch it. Years later I watched it and yes that scene was pretty scary. I think it was the few frames with the dead naked body that scared my sister so much, and the circling werewolf and attack was scary too of course. Strange that most of the film was a comedy. I suppose it was the juxtaposition of the jokey and the horror that made it work.

I think I remember that,I was 13 so would’ve been 87-88,we were at a family friendly workmen’s club and this came on about 9:30-10:00 ish and all the kids were watching it in the tv room horrified!! Then the manager came in and turned it off 😢

Going to watch this movie in 1982, being a 12 yo boy, was a before n after in my life. Plus, back in the days we used to watch 2 movies for 1 tickets... the other movie was Endless Love.... It was an amazing experience being 12 years old.

American werewolf was so great that I bought the other one which was American werewolf in Paris and was sooo disappointed cause that werewolf transformation literally was all mechanical and was so fake looking that I ended up throwing that one away, so werewolf in London is my only go to!!! Great job guys

I fell in love with David the first moment I saw him in a Dr. Pepper commercial. I don't know what it was about him, but I couldn't get enough, so when this movie was advertised, I knew I HAD to see it! And I LOVED it! But oddly, the nude scenes were my LEAST favorite parts at the time. 😂

Wow was wondering who this was. Thought it was a director or something, then the Camera panned in and I knew it was the Main star. Time hasn’t been to kind to him , which is a shame because he seems like a really nice bloke. Mind you he still has a Naked Shower scene with Jenny Agutter under his belt. Every Man of our generation would have given their left leg for that memory. I had serious crush on her too. When I was coming of age I saw her in Walkabout. I was in Love from then on. Ha ha
