@@Levente20 That's a good one too. It's all relative 🤙🤘 I Appear Missing hits home to me...its deep as hell and so intricate. Villains is a great album. My favorite off that album is Domesticated Animals 🤘 "Tell us where you keep the gold, or what? We wanna help you rule the world. I think not. We won't tell a single soul. That's what they all say. So tell us where's the goddamn gold! I'll tell you where the gold is, it's in the ground. You wonder where's the reason...its in the lost and found." "Get right up, kneel and bow, where's your revolution now? Get back up and sit right down, tears of gold, drink them down. Get right up, kneel and bow. Shrunken heads parade through town. Tears of gold, drink them down. Dizzy, dizzy, dizzy, we all fall down!" Brilliant 👏

What blows my mind is Josh's ability to play lead guitar AND sing. I've tried to replicate what he can do and it's bloody hard, it's almost like his vocals and his guitar work on two different time signatures.

QOTSA is the only band that I have consistently listened to over the years and I never get tired of listening to their music. I listen to one album, then another, and when I eventually go full circle back its like meeting a new friend and reuniting with an old one at the same time. That's exactly how music should make you feel.

Right on, I picked up 8 years May 2022. QOTSA is empowering, sober or not. While not sober, I trained for and ran a marathon listening to them. Then another marathon a few years later while in sobriety. The lyrics and music took on a different meaning given the change in perception.
