I just found this today... I've been a Qotsa fan since Rated R and I found The Blasting Company and CW Stoneking in Over the Garden Wall Six years ago. He is amazing... his only fault is that that I want more material. Same goes for the Blasting Company... Greetings from Iceland!

@@jasmaxi1 You'd be amazed at how south a live mix can go. Definitely 85% the mix. The drums pound but aren't obtrusive and every element lives in it's own space. Great job.

It really is well done. I’ve got on some really good headphones and I don’t normally get to hear their full potential while watching live stuff on KZread ..... but the sound on this is incredible. Not to mention that the boys are spot the fuck on with this performance. I’m blown away every time I watch this. Chills!!

Fuck, this was a good set. Homme's voice is getting better and better - it has this Bowie / Elvis esque gnarliness to it. He really shines during these more intimate shows.
Was lucky enough to be there for this show. It was a holy experience. Shame hideaway and memories are made of this, the Dean Martin cover werent included. Still its nice to finally see it again. Thank you qotsa

@@Wulfcastle82 Mikey is legit my favorite modern bassist. Between him and Jon qotsa has the best rhythm section. Mikey also is an amazing singer and guitarist. He was also a great drummer back he used to play drums for Mini Mansions. I was lucky enough to meet him after a Mansions show. And he was super nice. He gave me a bunch of advice on playing and recording music and then gave my cousin a free shirt.
The rearranged The Way You Used To Do as the opener...wooh boy that gave me chills hardcore. So glad I got over being a contrarian shit and gave QOTSA a chance. Everything Josh touches is gold 🪙

It's my understanding that Josh sobered up (or at least significantly cut back) after his divorce, and you can see how much healthier he looks in the intro he recorded compared to the concert footage. Don't get me wrong, I love ThiccHomme as much as the next guy, but I'm happy to see him looking better and healthier in 2020.

Just donated to Life for Paris. QOTSA are so feckin’ smart with these reimagined versions of songs that are already fantastic. My love and respect for Josh and this band just continue to grow. Need a new record!

One of the best acoustic live sets, they for sure made history here. Can't imagine the work behind this preformance, every note is so carefuly and emotionaly played. Even the songs are substancially diffrent than the original versions. Makes me so happy that QOTSA is so versatile, for sure one of the best musicians and band in the world. Even someone who is much into music can regognize the feeling and emotion transmited. LOVE this some much that makes me want to go to Mona Museum.
I come back every month to just listen to “better living through chemistry” The bridge of the song in this version is incredible
A wonderful thing you're pulling here. I remember the day of the attacks. I wanted to go to the concert and see the Eagles but I was kinda broke at the time. I remember heading to a Restaurant that nightbecause my girlfriend at the time wanted to cheer me up as I was thinking about That concert. Until everybody got silent, listening to the radio. Thanks for that. I'm also thankful you were not at the show that night. Love to everyone.

Just saw Queens for the first time last week in London, mind bogglingly good live, absolutely unreal. Hope I get to see them again in the near future.
I would have sat at the edge of my seat for another 3 hours of this. I love to see bands actually enjoy playing their most popular songs and making it relevant for them and subsequently for us.

I am such a huge fan of all of Josh Hommes work, this performance was so raw and cathartic. Brought tears to my eyes, I really love their music...Josh knows how to make music that cuts deep

That version of Go with the Flow is amazing. One of my all time favorite bande..Josh is just an incredibly gifted songwriter and vocalist. Been a huge part of the soundtrack to my life.
My god I can only imagine these guys live, listening to go with the flow and make it with chu here gave me soo much goosebumps even after each re-listen.

I LOVE Josh Hommes' initial reaction when C. W. Stoneking announces they will play "this Old Cab Calloway tune...". He flinches like "Wait? WTF is he saying?!" and then laughs. It's golden.
Lucky enough to see Queens at the Derwent entertainment center after this show. The 5th time Ive seen these guys. Twice in hobart, sydney, Perth and the UK. Hope to see them again. Great band supporting great charities. Thanks guys.
