waking up is the worst, no one tells you nor warns you about it. I went in blind.. for me it was horrible, had flashed of weird fabrics and decapitation, sleeping was rly hard cause I was scared of the things I would see closing my eyes. it's been a month now and still feels fresh. what helps is watching kittens or cute animal video's or just go for a walk in the park and look at trees and nature. hope you are doing well , know you are not alone. *hugs*

These music videos are pure artistic gold. They reveal for me a portrait of purgatory. The first character has "wake up" written on his chest, the name of the Buddha means of course the "awakened one". They wander through different bardo, realms where everything is dissolving. Finally in the end their turned into light and dissolve into the source in the song "My God is the Sun." You could interpret these short films as good Hindu and Buddhist pictures of the afterlife.

Calling all comas, prisoner on the loose Description: The spitting image of me 'Cept for the heart-shaped hole where the hope runs out Shock me awake, tear me apart Pinned like a note in a hospital gown Prision of sleep, deepened now The rabbit hole never to be found Again... Where are you hiding, my love? Cast off like a stone, feelings... Raw and exposed when I'm out of control Pieces were stolen from me or dare I say, given away Watching the water give in as I go down the drain I appear missing now I go missing, no longer exist One day, I hope, I'm someone you'd miss Shock me awake, tear me apart Pinned like a note in a hospital gown Deeper I sleep, further down The rabbit hole never to be found It's only falling in love because you hit the ground Dancing on wire both ends are on fire Cut me loose Nowhere to run, no more room to pretend Wandering along the road in the summer night I go missing, no longer exist One day, I hope, I'm someone you'd miss Shock me awake, tear me apart Pinned like a note in a hospital gown Deeper I sleep, further down The rabbit hole never to be found (Don't cry) with my toes on the edge it's such a lovely view (Inside) I never loved anything until I loved you (Confide) I'm over the edge, what can I do? (Sunshine) I never loved anything until I loved you (Don't cry) with my toes on the edge it's such a lovely view (Inside) I never loved anything until I loved you (Confide) I'm over the edge, what can I do? You know, I can imagine people watching this video for the first time back in May 2013 and thinking "wow! that’s an incredible song!" and then listening to the full album version with the guitar solo when it came out in June 2013 and thinking "Holy fuck!! Where did that come from?!?!"

This video and song is more powerful than I think people are conscious/aware of... We all seem to be in a comma and blindly following. Not just Josh or the rest of the band. We all need to open our one eye and see what is going on and stop blindy following this path to hell. Understand that everything is put in this video by no mistake.

Calling all comas, Prisoner on the loose Description: A spitting image of me Except for a heart-shaped hole where the hope runs out Shock me awake Tear me apart Pinned like a note in a hospital gown Prison of sleep Deepened now A rabbit hole never to be found Again Where are you hiding, my love? Cast off like a stone Feelings, raw and exposed when I'm out of control Pieces were stolen from me But dare I say, given away Watching the water give in As I go down the drain I appear missing now I go missing, No longer exist One day I hope I'm someone you'd met Shock me awake Tear me apart Pinned like a note in a hospital gown Deeper I sleep Further down A rabbit hole never to be found It's only falling in love Because you hit the ground Dancing on wire both ends are on fire Cut…

QOTSA is just the last great band in rock history. Among the greatest. I would love your input on our last video from our first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) who is following us on Soundcloud but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. If you have just 3 minutes to listen and a bit more to comment, that would mean the world to me. Keep rockin' kzread.info/dash/bejne/m2WauLSQZt2Znpc.html and Happy new year

He tried to commit suicide... for love. Or unrequited love. ("It's only falling in love because you hit the ground") He is now in a comma, at a hospital, the doctors triying to bring him back to life ("Shock me awake") He can sort of see what's happening ("Pinned like a note inside a hospital gown"); however he's not coming back... ("I've fallen through... ")
