qotsa is one of the most unique rock bands left out there, Josh has the mentality that he can't put out the same type of material every album and to people like me that is pure gold. I have loved this band from first album to the sad day when they decide to call it quits.

To me, this song is written in the perspective of somebody imagining he were the Antichrist or the Devil (if I had a tail - devil is usually depicted with tail) who's saying how easy it is to distract humans with materialism and really not needing to because we do it to ourselves. He's also gloating about how we'd make it simple for him to be able to run the world.

This has to be another one of my favorite songs by QOTSA. There's so many. It's difficult to find a band with this much swagger.

Josh has a range that sounds a lot like David Byrne from Talking Heads in this one. Now let's just hope they do a cover of Burning Down the House. Fingers crossed.

My favourite thing about this band is how many chicks love it. It shows how it can draw both genders to their music and not sell out to commercialist regime.

Like has been said by others, I don't know why but this band was not brought to my attention until recently. I had no idea what I was missing. Quickly becoming one of my favorite bands as I play catch up. Recently I was traveling and heard them on a local station (which apparently plays better music than I get at home). Then, if it wasn't for Dave Grohl doing the Sonic Highways series and featuring Kyruss and Josh Homme I probably wouldn't have put it all together and start to seek out QOTSA music. Glad I did.

I love this song, but the best part of it isn't in this video... It's so mind-blowing when Josh goes into this "Marvin Gayeish falsetto" (like "When Did You Stop Loving Me, When Did I Stop Loving You") over this Keith Richardy almost Disco riff toward the end of the song.
