Great update as usual and you definitely are the pheasant whisperer 🤣 👍. Great to see someone else looking out for the wild life, even though they don't always seem to appreciate it. The sparge washes extra sugars out of the grains so a slow sparge makes for higher efficiency overall. I'm also not convinced about those short boils, the longer boils produce more malt flavours and extract the bitterness from the hops. Your better half definitely needs to be awarded shepherdess/ gooseherdess award of the year as the calm approach is the right one 🤣 👍. She even helps you with the brew days 😲! Next you'll be saying she drinks beer 😲! You tell the bugger Dts but just remember that the bird brain was probably just attacking it's reflection. That's a complement as bird is looking so good due to the feed that you are giving it 😎👍. Stay safe and well, ICAN, cheers, Schnuz.

Yes we thought he was attacking his reflection too. I havnt seen him this morning so perhaps my scolding scared him off😂 The half hour boil is only an experiment for me as I too am not sure it will taste as good. I will keep you informed on how it tastes and we will take it from there. As for Heather? Well she is a treasure in more ways than one😂😂😂 Cheers Schnuz👍👍👍

Very excited to see you post again! Was just chatting the other day with a fellow brewer about missing your videos and missing Hoppy. I love the clips of the wild birds. I wonder if the one guy saw his reflection in the door? Maybe that's what he was pecking at? The Abbey Ale looks splendid. Enjoyed the video as always. Looking forward to more. Cheers David! 🍺

Thank you very much👍 Very kind word’s indeed 👍👍 Yes the same Pheasant tried to break the glass this morning and it can only be his reflection he is seeing and he sees it as another Pheasant Who is a threat. I am pleased to be back on You Tube and I will do my best to get more videos uploaded. I was talking to my other brewer mates on What’s app the other week and they were saying how many regular brew tubers have disappeared. I have been busy brewing despite not being on You Tube and my three kegs are usually in action😂 Thanks for watching and commenting and all the best👍👍👍

Super to see you again David! Firstly and foremostly, sorry to hear of your hardships - all the best and sorry for your loss. I had the same mishap happened when I last time brewed and forgot to heat the sparge water. Please do a review of your last bottle of abbey ale!!

Hahaha you've clearly lost none of your animal communication skills there Dave but this new breed just don't respect your authority. Bring back national service I say. Nice to see you back though, been a bit dull around here of late.
