Sadly, his statement about Queen staying until they die was accurate. There will never be another Freddie. He was the best frontman ever.

Freddie's existance was all the more precious for its brevity. For not only will he be forever remembered for the songs he sang, he will be forever mourned for the songs he never got to sing. If it is true that a man is never dead so long as his name is spoken, then Freddie Mercury truly will live forever.

Yes, there are singers who are great only on a technical level .... but Freddie is the master of emotion & passion when it comes to singing the song! He sings like it’s the question he has been asking himself “who wants to live forever”? 💗👑💗👑

You are so right! Freddie’s voice was just spectacular- all natural, raw, God given talent! There is more to being a great vocalist than just being a technical trained singer. They can have great technique but lack energy, emotion, and connection to the song & audience. Freddie’s voice was versatile, rich with emotion, and you feel every word & note he sang! A powerful charismatic performer in addition to his iconic songwriting, production, artistic, and instrumentalist skills! 💯 Irreplaceable Legend!!

A journalist, I think it was a journalist, once said that Freddie's voice was "a force of nature with the velocity of a hurricane". I think this song, both the studio version and all the live versions of this song, show that to be true. Of course Freddie's voice is always amazing but some songs show the power and depth of his singing more than others. He just knew how to sing every song with the right emotion and where each note should be within every word. Just incredible. Oh dear, he is just the best. Can you react to In My Defence. It's just Freddie, not Queen. Love your reactions. And, I love your accent. I could listen to you two talk all day. Thank you for making time to give us these great reactions. 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞💙💙💙💙💙💙💜💜💜💜

Freddie is sorely missed. A part of the world died when he did. There will never be another band like Queen or another great singer like Freddie!

Roger can be so underrated…..drums, BEAUTIFUL voice and to do them so flawlessly at the same time. Freddie’s back up in the high notes…..Roger you are so loved. All 4 are the perfect family.

This song was featured in the movie "Highlander" (starring Christopher Lambert). Listening to this song within the film while watching the visuals is another level. The character does live forever (more or less) while those he loves die after a normal lifespan. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hqV60cuGYN3elLw.html

My partner was lucky enough to go to this concert, he was in London training for Arsenal football club at the time, had limited money but spent what he had on a ticket, he still to this day, says it was amazing, so deeply moved he got to see Freddie at his best. Sadly his career as a striker passed after he suffered a terrible injury, so not only did he train and play for the mighty Glasgow Rangers, but Arsenal too,, I’m so envious he got to see Queen. Bless him 🥰

My soul connects to Freddie so much that it makes me cry to see him perform. I love and miss him. I hope to see him in Heaven some day. I have an idea guys watch a whole Wembley concert and you can split it up in 3 our more videos. Others have done that and it gives you an experience you won't forget. EVER

You may already know but this song was written for a movie & it fits to perfection. The film is a cult classic we still watch today, it’s called Highlander and I think you would enjoy it if you’ve never seen it. Queen were asked to do film songs often but mostly said no. The director asked them to watch a rough cut after they had turned it down. They agreed & Freddie had most of the song by the end of the movie. I believe they delivered the demo in 3 days. The movie & music together in a theatre was magic.
