When Roger was telling the story about the awful bouncers in England in the 70s, reminded me of the time in 2020, in Melbourne, the bouncers were pushing us back from the front row fence. It was ridiculous. Brian saw what was going on and yelled at the bouncer to "cut it out", and the bouncer was quickly removed, and the queen stage manager came and apologized to me. I gave Brian a thumbs up and he returned the gesture. Massive respect for Brian looking after his fans.

i was lucky enough to see Queen twice in scotland ('79 and '82) and they were amazing and really did all they could to encourage us to get involved, freddie threw water at us and swore at us and we loved every second of it! during the 82 show at ingliston the crew had rigged a bright yellow rubber duck on a thin wire from the lighting rig at the front the stage and when freddie stood on the right spot the duck was lowered to a few feet above his head, we would point and laugh at him and as he turned round to look the duck was quickly hoisted up again and when freddie did turn round there was nothing there, it was a silly wee joke that got us all involved with the band and freddie in particular who was obviously in on the joke, it was their way of making us part of the show and another reason why they were the best live band ever 👑✊🇬🇧

The best of any band to me is the crowd participation. I was at an Ed Sheerhan concert in Philadelphia in June, and he engaged the audience the whole time. It's nice that bands like Queen helped interact with the crowd to make the experience better for everyone. Wish I was around to hear the iconic "AAAAYYYYOOOO" in person. Long live queen. 🎉

I will never forgive my parents for not letting me drive to Philadelphia to see Queen when I was a teenager. Still angry 40+years later!

They might not like the sitting crowd, but for the US concert the floor is all seats and the front ones go for $850. Hard to get energetic kids in the front that way :/ I am bringing my kids but we can only go in the nosebleeds with those prices. Last time I saw then in Italy (Paul Rodger tour) the floor was $55 and standing only: that was a total blast
