For anyone wondering at 7:45 why the bishop doesnt take the pawn on f4, it leads to checkmate because rook can land on g1 followed by rook d to d1 and there are no moves to prevent mate. Black square bishop has to keep an eye on g1 othewise king only has b2 square and gets mate.

He’s got the talent of Fisher and the tenacity of Kasparov. MVL played awesome today in red hot form - but Magnus still found a way to win. Has to be the GOAT. The commentary team mentioned that MVL had a winning response at some point, I think itwas while blacks rook was still on f1 guarded by the pawn om e2? Anyways according to David Howell MVL could have interposed the other rook to the third rank cutting the Bishop's view to the queening square allowing queening for the price of one rook, but he missed it. Dunno if that analysis was correct, but it was mentioned during the live commentary.

Rumor: As chess has been greatly reduced after the advent of chess engines to AI -generated tactics concerning the higher tablespaces involving combinations of pieces thus reducing the advantage the players may obtain and so forcing them to look for breaks from theory earlier and earlier from known lines, cheating is really rampant among top tier players. However the art of cheating and tricking evaluators to accept semigod-like moves can only be had by the wisdom of practice. And who better than those commentators which observe games and work out lines and their evaluations as the games happen. And so the GCACA (grand chess anti-cheating authority) is investigating anonymous allegations that not only Agadmator has been and is secretly working with Hans Niemann, aiding and abating him, not only that Agadmator is really a 5000 classical rated player a 7000 rapid player and 7500 blitz player while his centaur rating remains conveniently a mystery, but also that he is the creator of a rumored mythical AI-chess engine of unparalleled chess-teaching-and-coaching capability called Agadmotor.

The score was even going into armageddon, but Magnus won during Armageddon with black by getting a draw. Maxime deserves a lot of praise for what he accomplished. The match was amazing.

One resource is not enough, making videos is actually his job instead of a side hobby, that's why he is very fast and posted a lot of videos literally minutes after the games ended, you can only do that if you sit and analyze the game while it's live, which takes a lot of hours, which can't be done if you have another job in your day, so this is his full time job.

Ad revenue alone isn't enough and donations aren't required. As with most content creators on the internet they like donations, but stress that they aren't required.
