Oh my god. I've been admiring all the members of Queen since the day i first heard their voices. But Taylor's voice is something unreal and to cool to be true. Actually i have no words. One of the most underrated falsettos in music.

All those times that we thought Brian was playing at 5:04... it was Roger all along taking us all to a different kind of high. I rewatched Somebody to Love video, and yeah.. Roger was belting it out! Jesus!

Listen Rogers cover "I Wanna Testify". He does all vocals himself, including some nice lower ones. Freddies vocal range was exceptional both in high and low notes. Roger reached higher notes equally well, or a bit better.

Most of these are high and light mixed voice and head voice there is almost no falsetto here

What's incredible in his voice is really how vast the talent is... Like extremely high notes as a tenor? Got it. Rock'n roll raspy growl? Got it. Soft and gentle voice in slower songs (like in many of his own ones, Heaven For Everyone for example)? Got it. He is just so damn versatile. I can cover all his high notes in Queen, but hey I'm a woman with a high soprano register. When you're a man and hit those notes, it's definetely much more impressive. I love singing with Roger haha, belting the high notes is so much fun 😂

I think most people know by now that a lot of the high notes are not Freddie. And Freddie could also reach to about the same range. The difference is just that Freddie was a baritone and Roger is a tenor. Roger could hit those notes consistently, Freddie was not able to it consistently.

I think there are Queen fans (more like Freddie IS QUEEN and the other three guys are just 'there') who have no clue Roger covered the high notes as well as harmonizing with Freddie on the high notes. Actually, listening to Smile, it's strikingly clear they had found Queens sound. Freddie added to it. But, he did not create it. There's so much credit to go around.

The photos of Roger at the start and end of this are so beautiful.
