Queen is the best live band ever! Their music is better live and less structured than the studio because they are extremely talented artists who take it to the next level live with their artistic variations!

This song never ceases to amaze me, still a relatively young band in 1974 but each of their talents all blend together so perfectly and precisely they sound like they'd been playing forever. I'll never get tired of listening to Queen.

In the seventies and 80's we lived through a wave of heavenly music from these guys!

You want to be wowed again see YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY live at Hyde Park 1976. It's just Freddie and his piano (band on a rest break) and Freddie talks to the crowd performing this song before it had been recorded. 150,000 free open park concert. It's the performance that nailed me as the obsessed fan that I am.

Another great Queen song is love of my life live.

This beautiful song was penned by Brian May about a girl he had a crush on in his Biology class!! The lyrics describe his longing for her from afar but lacking the courage to approach his White Queen, alas, until it was too late .. “So sad it ends, as it began” 🧝🏻‍♀️🌟🌾🍃

White Queen is a hidden gem, this video is sooo perfect. Queen was a diligent band, they never got on stage without rehearsals and the the invested work reflected to the live performances.

It’s easy to forget this is live until the applause kicks in at the end. This song was originally written without the piano line & was first released in that way. Brian & Freddie were a powerful collaborative force. Definitely playlist worthy.

My favorite live performance EVER from any band. I love this song written by Brian about a girl in one of his college classes that he wanted to date but never could get up the nerve to ask her out.

I am 61 which means I was at Secondary (High) school when Queen 2 (the album that this is from) was released. It means nothing to other people really, but I feel extremely lucky to have been a teenager in the 1970s when Queen, Bowie, Elton John (when he was good), Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, Led zeppelin, Supertramp, The Who etc. (all English!) were releasing albums. It's great that younger people are discovering these artists and realising just how fantastic they were. No Auto Tune, no songs-by-committee, no instant overnight success via a TV talent show. These people earned their success by working pubs and small venues. Just watch the excellent film "Bohemian Rhapsody". The 70s was not all just Disco. There was some superb rock music.

This sound is unmatched by anyone - it simply can't be duplicated. Freddie's vocals and his passion, along with Brian's guitar work. This is an amazing live performance by the entire band - period. Brian and his father built his guitar. The wood came from the mantle of a fireplace from an old English castle. It is a one of a kind, but his sound comes primarily from the Deacy Amp. John Deacon, the bass player was an electronics major at the University and he built a special amp, also one of a kind. He use to use it, but gave it to Brian very early on in the band's formation. Brian used this little amp to create many of the sounds. Listen to "Good Company" from The Night at the Opera album and all of those sounds like trumpets and trombones and the entire roaring 20s jazz sounds are all Brian on the guitar with the Deacy Amp. Brilliant work. There is no argument, he is one of the greatest guitar players of all time.

I love your reaction to Queen. Freddie's vocals are insane and can never get tired of listening to him. Queen are awesome. The whole band seems to click which is why they are awesome. It was a dark day when Freddie died. He was so talented. Another live video may I suggest is Under Pressure live at Wembley (5:56 minute version) and Another One Bites the Dust Live at Wembley 1986. The crowd control that man had. Truly amazing. Of course you can never go wrong with a Queen song. Again, thanks for your reaction. I really love them.

Thanks for yet another great reaction to such a great performance... yes, that was live, on Christmas Eve nonetheless, which explains why he was holding a martini glass in his hand next to mic... he had just toasted the audience to a happy holiday... yes, I love this song so much, you see why it is so highly requested... so hauntingly mesmerizing between the exquisite playing of the piano and the perfect blend of the guitar, drums and bass, like they are all talking to each other, lamenting a lost love, and yes, so memorable, as is all music from Queen, which is why we love them so much... Have you reacted to "Liar" yet? or "In the Lap of the Gods" (not the reprise, that is a totally different song)?? Sometimes I don't know if I like the studio version or the live version better! Like the song 'you take my breath away' . Freddie sang it live at a concert before they recorded it a year later. Both are absolutely breathtaking!

Queen could do any genre of music. You might want to try Tie Your Mother Down or Now I'm Here. Both from the Wembley concert is amazing 1986. Have a terrific day!

I've seen this more times than I care to admit and I still wonder if it's really live, even though I can see and hear the audience. It's just so amazing. That instrumental section is just this swirling interplay between the guitar and piano. That would be difficult to do even in a studio, but live?
