Queen Elizabeth II: A look back at the Queen's funniest moments over the years
Her grace, charm and remarkable dedication to service endeared her to world leaders and millions of people across the globe.
And as tributes continue to pour in for Queen Elizabeth II, who died peacefully at Balmoral, one common theme has been her infectious sense of humour.
Her Majesty was known for her witty one-liners and excellent comedic timing, which were perhaps only rivalled by her husband Prince Philip.
From mic drops to being the perfect photo bomber, Britain's longest-reigning monarch knew when to poke fun at the lighter side of life.
As the country unites to mourn her loss and prepares to say goodbye, we fondly remember the incredible times the Queen put smiles on our faces.

I'm not Charles biggest fan, most of us aren't but this does break my heart for him. Whether they are 96 or 46, losing your parents is a pain that is indescribable. I'm thinking of the entire royal family and hoping they can give in their own ways.

HRH actually pushes down on the blade side with her hand after turning the sword upside down, glad she was wearing her gloves. Also, yesterday commentator said that when she travelled she always took her father's sword with her for protection! I m not sure what she would have done with it after watching this cake cutting. I love this video clip.

What a sad life
I was born 6 years after she ascended to the Throne. She’s always been in my life and whilst I’m not a full on monarchist, I’ve cried more for the Queen than I did for my own mother. The end of a FAR better era than England will ever see again.

I remember watching the Bond sketch on the big screens at Hyde Park and when we realised it was actually the Queen there was a huge gasp then a compete eruption of cheers and laughter. It was amazing.
That performance with Mr. Craig was amazing! With Paddington a well done topping. We'll miss her, also here in Germany. Mr. Steinmeier, our President is taking two teps behind for the time of grief, 'cause he knows what the passing of HM The Queen to common people of Germany means. I was born 89, and I still got a fan of having The Queen in s very young age and a lot of people think like me in my age, too. And now the romantism has passed away. That's the real meaning of romanticism, isn't it? Glory and passing. Isn't it? God bless Her Majesty The Queen. Our Queen, nextdoor. At least, God save the King.

While I am not her subject, or of English descent, British culture gave birth to the culture of my country, and she `felt' like my queen. And speaking of grandmothers, one of mine looked a lot like her, and the other one was as reserved and as occasionally blunt as the queen was.
I loved her style I mean when she comes out everybody is out she was truly a special queen
What a lovely woman and leader, clearly had a great sense of humor, a joy to be around. God rest her soul. Now the queen and Phillip can rest together for eternity.
Yes, when the Queen met Mr Bond in the commercial was such a delight to see her.

The Ukrainian people creed together with the people of Great Britain in connection with the death of Her Royal Highness. A year ago, I could not even imagine that the people of Great Britain would extend a helping hand to the people of Ukraine in the fight against the invaders who invaded Ukraine and treacherously destroy the sons and daughters of Ukraine. This so-called 'Queen' leaves behind a legacy of denial of treacherous plunder from nations, killing of innocent, unarmed civilians through inhuman laws and staying defiant on the crimes against humanity that her Empire perpetrated. She must be remembered in the light of her greedy, selfish actions and not some romanticized, redundant title. May those who perished because of her family's greed find peace. May humanity be spared from such characters in future.

Rest In Peace Queen Elizabeth
Thank goodness for Elizabeth II's humour, helping all of us to laugh at the solemnity of monarchy. Since she died, there has been much publicity, not so much thought about why she matters. The monarchy shouldn't be used as real-life soap opera, nor as mere material to fill space in the media. Why is monarchy helpful ? In the 19th & 20th centuries the U.S.A, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain and Greece suffered in various ways civil wars, political storms, and dictatorships. This shows what can go wrong in the absence of a head of state which is above politics, and which opposes illegal dictatorship. If there are many reasons England, Wales, Scotland, Canada and Australia have had no civil war since Culloden in 1746, having a constitutional monarchy to unify all the people is an important reason. In the UK, 'peace' in formal speech is "The King's Peace". Of course Elizabeth II & Prince Philip had their failings as parents; King Charles III's first marriage was a tragic mistake; Prince Philip could be tactless. Whatever mistakes the royal family have made, let us be grateful for the service they give, and for the difference the monarchy makes for the better, in the UK & the world. The sea around it didn't protect the U.S.A. against civil war in the 1860s, and the UK could have suffered civil war over slavery in the 19th century, or over world war, economic failure or loss of empire in the 20th. There will always be violence and political problems in the world, and billions of people who know or understand nothing of the huge, tangible power for peace and stability British monarchs are for everyone in Britain, the commonwealth (e.g. Canada & Australia) and for the world. Since the 1700s, billions of people have lived under the British crown without civil war, lynching, dictatorship in their lives. God save King Charles III.
Not a royalist not a fan of British monarchy but I really was fond of the Queen. She was iconic charming and indescribable. Sad. 😥
She will be remembered, always 😢
