    @@blakeluccason9971 the picts are not the phoenicians. Rome were at war with the Picts. If they were the same people as the Phoenicians then Rome would not have recorded how different the Picts were frome anyone they had met. The Phoenicians if in Britain would have been trading with Cornwall.

    The Phoenicians sailed to the Americas (both north & south) that is why American Indians are referred to as Red Indian (Phoenicians were famous for their red dyes not only the one from the Murex). They also sailed to the other side of the world (New Zealand). Viking ships are nearly identical to Phoenician ships!!!

    @@markmorris7123 the word Britannia is derived from the Phoenician mother goddess Barata. She was depicted on their coins which are nearly identical to British coins with the image of Britannia. Some say that after the 3rd Punic war when Carthage was finally annihilated, those who managed to escape the Romans, joined the Celts or Picts.

    Some of the stories about Elissa like this one was made up by Tunisians, still the true story about Elissa is not clear yet.
