Probably because said magician didn't touch 'quantum mechanics' at all in this video, but rather explained what is observable and explainable in classical mechanics. Even the chaos (uncertainty / calculation error) notion of a classic mechanics concept, covered in statistical mechanics. Quantum mechanics notation and formalism is needed (and not discussed at all here), because the world-grid is quantised at a fundamental level, much like the pixels in photoshop.

Isn't this why the sigil folks like Peter J Carroll and Gordon White mention forgetting about the sigils after activating them, either destroying them or just setting them aside without concentrating on what each of them means? The process of sigils is about distracting the conscious mind so the unconscious mind can do its manifestation mojo.

@@widdershinnz I was a bit confused by that as well. Gordon White and Peter J Carroll differ a little in how they approach sigils, where GW suggests in "The Chaos Protocols" just keeping them around as visual aids but not thinking too much about them (what he referred to as "lust of result," I think) and PJC suggests destroying them. I think the former suggestion does more for us as reminders and visual aids, but for better details I'd suggest you check out that book if you haven't already. I actually opted to post my first batch of sigils on my altar so I could glance at them now and then. One of them has already completed its mission, so I would think the visual aid made sufficient contact with my subconscious mind.

The mind's eye is stronger than words. It helps explain why what people fear manifests as they are seeing it in their mind's eye, instead of the outcome they really want.

Best explanation of the slit experiment that I've ever seen. It's also a great description of how the media works to effect society. They focus our minds in a particular direction to bring about certain outcomes. A form of magic. Also the outcome of reading books like Aldus Huxleys 'Brave New World', etc.

When praying and visualizing, refrain from thinking "this, not that". The subconscious doesn't recognize "not" or negatives in grammar. So when your thoughts want to use negatives, reword it as positive verbiage.

I simply don't think about things I don't want to happen, instead I focus (visualize and emotionally fortify) the things I do want to happen and they really do * o *

Ah! Nice! 😄 I'm often baffled at how poorly this stuff is taught. I think it's mostly that the 'teachers' don't understand it themselves. Lots of hiding behind 'if you think you've understood it, you haven't understood it' to justify why they have no idea what they're talking about. I was just very lucky to have had it explained to me in very simple terms as my first exposure. I have Robert Anton Wilson (Quantum Psychology) and Greg Egan (Quarantine) to thank for that. I'm so glad I was able to make it clear for you! 👍👍👍

@@FoolishFishBooks personal knowing through a mystical experience is what pulls someone to understand the collapsed wave function on a very personal level. When you experience consistent shrinking of the wave function that cannot be described by 3rd dimensional time alone one then seeks teachers like you to make sense of it! I agree entirely with what Oryan said above. You have a way of making this make sense to even those who haven't personally experienced its power yet. Great job!

Visualisation and most importantly feeling the feelings of having obtained the desired outcome is the way to go. Jesus explains it in the New Testament, and also in all the teachings of Neville Goddard. Thank you so much FF, this definitely peaked my interest.

Visualizing something you don't want to have happen is precisely what I've heard explained by other practitioners, so this video helps to put that into a bit of perspective. Thinking so much about something that you don't want to have happen will only ensure that thing happens even more so. I've actually come to believe this very process was how I became homeless several years ago, because it was something I was fearful of and put a lot of thought into NOT wanting it to happen. I then took this a step further and opted to rearrange my thinking so that I did not focus on the negative, or rather starting off a sentence/magickal thought with contemplating what I didn't want to have happen before thinking about what I did want to happen.

That means having dreams is extremely important to our survival, which is why we have them.

we are the particles, the whole space is all our options, and the observed location of the particles are where we choose to focus our attention (our reality). The fact that the particles can be anywhere signal a multiverse and the particles able to be influenced means we can step into the shoes of any of our alternate reality selves at any time with using our thoughts, focus and intention. this feels how the micro translates into the macro to me

I see these videos from a year or so ago, but I was curious about joining because I've been catching a lot of your videos lately since I got even deeper into my study of the art and science of magick. I've already found your tutorial on the LBRP pretty damned helpful (as long as I didn't focus too much on your own take toward the second part of it).

"Observation destroys possibilities" dovetails nicely into your video on the reasons for silence (which I just watched previously). Just found your channel and have to say it's the best on these subjects I've come across. Thank you for your work!

This has more than peaked my interest -for the past 5 years or so both magic and physics/quantum physics have been calling to me. Very very strongly (actually they’ve always called to me since I was a teenager but not as strongly as the past half decade). So I’ve been studying both simultaneously, easily too since a lot of the time they just present themselves to me, but I haven’t really connected the two officially in my mind, except with a few suspicions as to how they do support each other. Until now. Thank you for just confirming I’m on the right path. And everything in this video makes perfect sense. Loved it!

Hey! Really enjoyed this take on how best to collapse potential into reality. Gave me an aha! moment with regards to how time happens all at once and all the dimensions are present and happening silumtaneously. Would love to share - so, you were saying how the now moves towards the future etc. I suddenly saw how the now - being more of a spacial infinity - is actually ever present, indivisible etc and the phenomena that we experiece through observation is the transitory component. So, we the observer, act as the catalyst to collapsing our own personal realities in this particular dimension - as dictated by our vantage point -ie frequency signature of our incarnation - 3D for example, 1993 or whatever.. So all these realities are happening simultaneously - but I, one focal point of consciousness, collapse chaos according to my expectations an accepted model of reality, relegating the rest to potential - or unexpressed quanta.. whereas an entirely different being with a vastly different vantage point - lets say an ancient egyptian slave from what i would call "the past'.. this unique point of consciousness has no interest nor awareness is the potential expressed in my reality - so everything of my reality is relegated to nothingness/potential - from his vantage point. So in this way we activate totally different aspects of the unified field of consciousness - making our timelines appear seperate - each thinking he has sovreignty of the present. It's like the tuning fork.. when struck it will cause all other objects within range that have the same natural resting pitch to vibrate.. whereas objects above and below that frequency will be unaffected.. similarly we only perceive and are able to interact with that which is within our own vibrational bandwidth, leaving masses of signals and data out of reach.. this could be as simple as a smell humans cannot perceive - or an entire reality operating right within our own. Has me thinking of Parmenides versus Heraclitus' model of reality, but I've gone on long enough for now. Thank you so much for this delicious food for thought! It's built a further bridge in my map :)

Very underrated channel! Really appreciate the knowledge and like some others have mentioned, your explanation of the double slit experiment in conjunction with the time vs certainty graph really helped everything to click and make sense despite having heard/read about the quantum mechanics previously. I've not heard it suggested anywhere else that visualisation would the equivalent of collapsing the wave function through observation. Brilliant!

..I am still trying to pull myself together after watching a lot of your videos. I just came across your channel a few hours ago..without looking for it, or topics discussed...and I couldn't stop watching and listening to you. I have no idea if it's your voice, the information, the vibe that you send out...but it got me in a state that I can't make sense of at the moment, but it sure is a good one.

The De Broglie wavelength hypothesis suggests that all matter, of any mass, possesses these properties of superposition. And last I checked we have done the double-slit experiment on some fairly large molecular structures now. The trouble with conducting it on something of our relative size, is that it would take the lifetime of the universe to observe.

This is fabulous and makes sense of law of attraction and explains the focus on positive vs negative. This really explains why worrying can bring more negative effects. Praying with gratefulness can help bring the increase probability of the positive “chaos” possibilities vs negative. Now I understand the visualization as if it already has happened. I loved this video!!! I'm reading Fritjof Capra, and was having a hard time trying to imagine this experience. You explained it beautifuly!! Oh... i agree with you those are techniques to bring focus and results in the material world. I would had: emotion. Because, we can raise our vibrational state. If we had: visualization + emotion + focus (a mindful pratice like prayer, etc.) we can make something happen. Media do it all the time. They play music in the background of the news, they can trigger fear, etc. It can affect our vibrational state, lowering it, affecting our mind. Its a theory...

MAN!!! The last couple of minutes of the video described exactly the same rationale that I came up with on my own!! You my friend are a mind reader. But also, another layer of our uncreated reality is the unseeable. That operates at a higher frequency than we can detect. Ghost, and the sprit realm.

"Despite the "observer effect" in the double-slit experiment being caused by the presence of an electronic detector, the experiment's results have been misinterpreted by some to suggest that a conscious mind can directly affect reality."

I'm extremely pleased that you made this video as it becomes an affirming synchronicity for me. .. infact, in even interpreting it as a sort of encouraging message from behind the veil, so to soak. here it is: back in 94i was having a basically magickal day wanderlusting in San Francisco. I'd developed an even greater interest in Magick after having many profound life changing experiences occur after reading Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain. It was highly recommended to me by someone I perceived to be such a delightful bright enlightened traveler,, a modern day bard, I'd venture to call him. Iinquired how he became who he was in contrast to the nare-do-well he'd once been. He simply said, read her book. it's just like magic. That struck such a curiously new chord within me and I was highly intrigued. meanwhile, I learned about Schodingers Cat BOX mystery, which I believe is an earlier interpretation or possibly the original concept behind this quantum peculiarity. I was really into the idea of alternate selves endlessly shedding off into different branches of alternate lives and fates... I get the book, and with my first experiment taken from the book, I visualized something that seemed highly unlikely to manifest, as it was a hot summer in the redwood mountains of the SF Peninsula, Ca. I visualized an ice skater and ice skating ⛸ and should I see, or hear anything to do with it I'd be convinced that creative visualization techniques as taught by Miss Gawain indeed worked. my whole spiritual path and quest for knowledge had started at the age of 15 after reading Richard Bachs Illusions... and this seemed to be the very science behind Richard's Blue Feather experiment and I kept that in mind as well. A few short hours after visualizing ice skating, I was at a sort of community center attending a workshop. During a break someone turned on a television. It was an art therapy group, I now recall. We were making collages abs I was busy cutting images from a magazine. nothing but intuition made me stop what I wasdoing and direct my attention to the television. a black and white commercial came on the screen and what ever was being advertised was likened to have the graceful glide of an ice skater... there it was, even the ice skate ⛸ was zoomed in on. Nearly 100 out and I saw the manifestation of ice skating. the jaw dropped when an aquaintence that I had ever only spoken a few words with came up to me and said hey man, I just found this blue Jay feather and thought maybe you could use it for your collage. That gives me goosebumps everytime I remember. ok so back to my point... fat forward back to the magical day in San Francisco... i was having a strong series of synchronization clues that brought me into North Beach, first into Vesuvius' Bar and then into City Light Books. A word had been burning itself in my mind and kept repeating.. Chaos Chaos Chaos... charming word but what is the significance? I thought throughout the day... in City Lights I felt almost pulled straight to the Metaphysical section. now up to this point I was interested in Magick but had no clue where to begin. I tried reading some Crowley abs had started with 777 lol... nothing made sense it was all over my head. as I turn into an isle my eyes feel onto a few "random books" as I noticed a word The then they fell on another word, book, then another book title and word stood out YOU, then as I kept walking I understood this was a message and my eyes fell on SEEK then IS then my eyes fall onto a sign HERE and the arrow pointing towards a shelf, and at that level my eyes fell onto a book cover with an interesting painting on the cover.... and I gasped at its title. You may already have guessed, if you're reading this and are familiar with it... you may even have a simular experience with the degree of "loudness" this book entered your life, I'd bet. It was Liber Kaos by Peter Carroll. I bought it and read half the book on my way home, lol one thing that stood out to me was if you don't like your past, change it. change your future .. it's all up to you. ayear later i set about to do just that and are I began this work, my life crumbles around me and I'm at wits end as to why suddenly I was having the hardest time living in one of the greatest places on earth, Santa Cruz CA. in desperation I consulted a witch and dear friend. I looked to her as a trusted advisor, abs that was the only counsel I sought and perplexed at her own answer to me, fur I was like a segregate to her son she had lost some time before we met... she told me it seemed that I no longer have a life there and infact, I was to leave and go to Portland Oregon, that there I will find a good life and many adventures awaited me. I just needed to go up and join it. coming from anyone else I would have called them crazy to suggest I ever leave my home in California. .. but it suddenly made sense to me that the intent on essentially quantum leaping into an alternate self with a better life path than the one I found myself on, here's the link. .. a greyhound bus ride. I left, came to Portland with nothing but a change of clothes a few books a journal and life began a new. I even dropped my first name, having always loved my middle name (my beatnik mother gave me the middle name Neal Cassady) and fur the last 25 years I've lived it. The whole covid thing has find hand in hand with a ton of self realization and development and a new era of my lifeis about to unfold. I know I didn't go into the quantum side of what I mean to say, but it has everything to do with visualizing the new direction I want to go... anyways, I felt compelled to share if you or anyone relates, by all means please comment. I often call my experience with psychic development and my practice abs experience with Magick hap hazard cause I often don't fully understand what I'm doing until it's done ... just my experience too. I don't want you to think I'm proficient or claiming to be a great chaos magickian or quantum jumping dare devil, not in the slightest. dear me, I do apologize for not taking the time to correct all of the auto-correct errors... just to elaborate a little bit more on what brought me to leaving one life and entering something entirely new and different was a particular spell that I seemed to concoct loosely based on what I was getting from Liber Kaos, as well as a wonderful little book on Celtic Magick by Scott Cunningham , which taught me some simple classic ritual to begin and end with leaving the time in between as the time inwhich to create and charge a sigil. Peter Carroll spoke of a spells success as having everything to do with if it is within your "sphere of probability"... I may have been half mad , more like a jazz musician, but I do recall that I had this system of using numerology and what I was calling Kaos math to determine the degrees of probability I needed to reach before casting. what I was aiming at achieving was to change my past, mainly surrounding some poor decision making and pausing the consequences that were most enevitably going to unfold... and at the same time connect with the guidance of a future self who was in a better position and more capable to deal with the matter. my spwllworks gave me a path in order to bridge the gap, cross the expanse of causality, and conjointly move forward with a new paradigm in place, and as a new self. And really, it wasn't necessarily running away from problems, more it was allowing myself some time to grow and mature in the new life until I was in a better position to appropriately resolve matter. several years later I was able to return to deal with the matter, fully willing to face any consequences, too. The matter was dismissed as it had been evident to everyone that I indeed was no longer a rascal but was now responsible, productive, and had shown great willingness to mop up the mess caused by poor judgment in my rambunctious youth, as it were. And that was certainly not the man I used to be... so there was much to your video that spoke to me... I was seeing myself passing simultaneously through two slots and having a wave like pattern of different out comes by which I could decide which would be, and the rest would collapse as the one i chose unfolds. and as for the future? One of me goes out on a limb and lives the new exciting live imagined and another holds back and continues to daydream and longing for change... if that makes any sense? I'm almost intrigued how this has come up after i found a copy of another book in chaos Magick that I've begun reading written by one Andrieh Vitimus entitled Hands-On Chaos Magic : Reality Manipulation Through The Ovayki Current . Something new to investigate, perhaps.... Thanks again! oh, by the way, I did get a copy of the book on protection you highly recommend in many of your videos. We live in a holographic universe❤ I’m an audio engineer and it’s INSANE how this stuff has cross over with mysticism and physics. Like when your using an EQ to counter balance unwanted errant frequencies, this is reminding me of that lol getting rid of feedback, being aware of interference patterns due to environmental surface area and geometry. It all just clicks for me and my mind I can feel how it’s related lol. Do you ever notice that like it’s just really hard to describe these feelings of divinity

This is the best explanation yet and gives us a few more things to consider - if we are made of particles and therefore quantum "particles", and everyone and everything else is - when our "wave function" or energetic vibration interacts with other wave functions - does it then collapse based on the combination of both waves? Like how the combination of both waves in your drawing creates an interference pattern - if we have one person who has a "high vibration" they can walk into a room and lift everyone's mood up and they experience serendipitous events.

One technique is to make a petition or prayer in which the entity being petitioned is thanked for having granted the desired outcome, thereby collapsing the Eigen state by referring to the desired outcome as something that has already happened.

This was an excellent explanation, especially the way the interference pattern forms was better explained by you than by anyone I've heard it from before! I also appreciate how you clarify that your interpretation of this is speculative: A lot of mystical interpretations of QM pretend that the experiment PROVES an idealist worldview, rather than presenting us the baffling philosophical puzzle which it actually is. In a sense, you helped me manifest a state of open-mindedness to your ideas ;)

It's similar to my own understandings, so far. I too like to figure out how things work at the" basic"/deepest level.
