Wow, you have a beautiful head full of hair! Reminded me of when I used to brush out my daughter's hair---talk about some tired arms, wash, comb out, blow dry, and then she always wanted it flat-ironed. lol. You brought back a sweet memory from when she was little girl to me. Thank you.

A. there is absolutely no shame in taking help when you're literally so broken that you cannot even get out of bed without help... something I promise you have never experienced and B. many of us actually have jobs or are married and do not take government support. I really feel like you should stop watching these videos If that is your only take away after watching so many of them. I have literally never wished this on anyone in my life but I sincerely hope one day you get to experience what it is to be in a wheelchair cause you're clearly too much of a pussy for it it would crumble you. One thing most quads lack in the oral hygiene department is flossing MasonEllis has a great video on a device we can use to floss with that can be used in an adl cuff, both hands or wove through fingers.

I have congenital C spine fusion that I know nothing about would anybody happen to know what that means. I have been having so much neck and back pain lately that I rather be dead. The pain goes from my neck to my tailbone. I didn't have any injuries. It just started with the pain I have in my lower stomach. My groin area is so painful and I need to be active as I am the caregiver to my 73 year old disabled mom. I would go to get checked but I am not supposed to leave my mom alone last time I did she had a heart attack. So I'm in excruciating pain I noticed today that all my lymph nodes are swollen even in my armpits they are so painful. I'm so worried because my period has been absent for 9 years. My mom thinks overian cancer. Cuz it does cause the pain in my back. *anyone have ideas please..

Joanna Sanchez Yes I think that once you go to the doctor he will probably prescribe some medicine such as gabapentin or Lyrica for nerve pain. But that’s just what I am guessing. I hope everything goes well for you❤️❤️❤️

WhiteStone !!!! Yeah there are because depending on which cervical vertebrae you break it determines the level of function that you have. Also the severity of it. Because there is a huge difference with complete injuries versus incomplete injuries

@@Brenda-ey8vj As an example, I have complete paralysis from my waist down, so I have a special routine I have to follow for it during the times when I'm not asleep. It's definitely more difficult than being able to move normally, but it's completely manageable with the right preparations, as shown here or in other videos with someone with specific types. (Although mine is just a birth defect, and not technically an actual injury, since I was always the way I am.) Mine is considered T7.

Hey brenda, my college new friend is also paralysed she doesn't use catheter and has limited hand function and almost 0 function below waist. I wonder if she would require my help in her menstrual periods but since we are new friends, I don't feel comfortable asking her about this. should I ask her?
