What’s even better is the fact that Australia basically repeated the same process for COVID. Here in WA we recorded the first COVID related death in Australia… shortly there after our then Premier completely closed the border to everyone and we had a period of 183 dats where COVID was completely eliminated from WA and all the restrictions faced in lockdown by other states and countries were removed.

I used to live rite along what is called Goose Pond Sanctuary in Wisconsin for 6+ years. Every night during the summer, when we had the windows open, it sounded like 1000's of ducks, geese, herons, and all manor of waterfowl were having a party. No joke. It was like you're sitting at a dinner club, and everyone around you is talking, and every once in a while, you would hear what was like a duck laughing. At least, that was my interpretation. No matter how irritated I got, I'd just bust out laughing. But being Wisconsin, you would often hear the coyote and wolves talking to each other. Thought to myself, party is over... Got quiet. LoL

I worked in a fancy dayspa for a few years and I noticed a pattern with this. We had two bathrooms, mens and womens (plus a separate wheelchair accessible loo but not relevant here); you'd enter into a dressing room with benches, lockers, and sinks, and the toilets with the one shower were through another doorway. The mens was always a bit messy, but mainly just a few towels and slippers. The womens was generally tidier, unless there were groups of women coming together. Then it was an absolute pig sty. They would use all the towels, leave tissues and rubbish all over, leave champagne glasses in the weirdest places, overflow the bins, leave towels everywhere. More men didn't make any difference to the general level of mess. More women certainly did.

One of the best episodes with my absolute favourites Victoria and Claudia together. But even so, Toksvig keeps disappointing badly as a host. Whatever she says sounds like she reads it out. Even her "spontaneous" comments sound stilted and not at all authentic. Stephen Fry could read out an encyclopedia entry and it would sound interesting and engaging. It's high time they let somebody - anybody - else host the show. Toksvig's had her run. This is not going to be a popular suggestion with the crowd, but I don't think that it's ultimately an unfair one.
