Fans should check out "The Secret Life of the Manic Depressive" that Stephen did years back. One of the people he interviewed was Carrie Fisher and the whole show was very moving.

The grandson was NOT amused he broke the Xmas tree!!

These videos make me so happy 💖 ....aside from dear Stephen knocking down that Christmas tree, which still gives me anxiety despite seeing the clip multiple times now.

I beleive in Catalonia, they also use the phrase "Lots of shit!" instead of "break a leg." It has goes back to the days of horse drawn carriages, so more shit means more horses, which means more people coming to see the show

When kids were given scrapings, he´d come to the door and tap Bowl Licker, the sixth one, was shockingly ill bred. From underneath the bedsteads he stuck his ugly head. The seventh was Door Slammer, a sorry, vulgar chap: When people in the twilight would take a little nap Skyr Gobbler, the eighth, was an awful stupid bloke. He lambasted the skyr tub till the lid on it broke The ninth was Sausage Swiper, a shifty pilferer. He climbed up to the rafters and raided food from there. The tenth was Window Peeper, a weird little twit, who stepped up to the window and stole a peek through it Eleventh was Door Sniffer, a doltish lad and gross. He never got a cold, yet had a huge, sensitive nose. Meat Hook, the twelfth one, his talent would display as soon as he arrived on Saint Thorlak´s Day. The thirteenth was Candle Beggar - ´twas cold, I believe, if he was not the last of the lot on Christmas Eve

Aaaaah! Now I understand why, when I was on holiday in Barcelona they sold those figures of the Queen, the Pope, Mick Jagger etc having a dump! I just thought it was tacky rubbish that tourists would buy.

And so it was, on Christmas Day, The BBC was forced to pay ten-thousand Quid for Paul's old tree; a profit he did not foresee.

The show cannot easily be shown in the States due to the images that are displayed on the big screens behind the QI contestants. Every single one of those pictures has to be legally cleared (to get the copyright holders permission) before it can be shown on television etc. It's also one of the reasons why it will probably never be released in full on DVD.
