Important notice: The time that the mixture needs to ferment depends on the room temperature , if the weather is warm then half hour will be enough, and if the weather is cooler it needs a longer time and you may need to cover it with attention that the container is large so that the mixture does not spill out when covered while rising
Ingredients
1 tablespoon sugar
½ tablespoon active dry yeast
2 cups lukewarm water
2 cups sifted all purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cornstarch
¼ cup lukewarm milk

I use unbleached sifted all purpose flour , (Great Value or Gold Medal ) trademark, I use both of them
Can u not substitute the yeast with baking power or instant yeast ? And do we not add semolina ?

In this recipe don’t substitute the yeast, you must use it to have good results, and I don’t use semolina in this, just sifted all purpose flour
can I make them three days before my party or make the filling and the pancakes earlier and assemble them the night before the party please guide me I really want to make it for Eid. Thanks😊

I don't recommend that, it will dry so try to make it before a day not more and keep it in a bag in the fridge

No, it is not storable. It is better to make and use in same day

Shukriya Aroos You must use the dough pieces it in the same day while it is fresh, it will not be good after that. The only way you can store it is if you made the walnut stuffed one and froze it immediately after stuffing, then thaw it at the time of use before frying. And the small one that topped with qeshta, it better to be made and eaten in same day

No, it is very important to use water not milk in this recipe because that will affect the bubbles and I mentioned that in the video
