No, you're a loser like Hitch was. Hitch who pretends to know the bible as he screws up on it over and over again including what faith means biblically. --"Faith is the surrender of the mind, it's the surrender of reason, it's the surrender of the only thing that makes us different from other animals. It's our need to believe and to surrender our skepticism and our reason, our yearning to discard that and put all our trust or faith in someone or something, that is the sinister thing to me. ... Out of all the virtues, all the supposed virtues, faith must be the most overrated”-- Christopher Hitchens Now, look at what biblical faith really means that Hitch the liar didn't even look at: Biblically, faith means trust. It's a trust by evidence seen. God asks that we prove things. To reason. To get knowledge. To study. God has nothing to hide. We develop trust from what is seen, and that which is not seen yet is trusted also because of the trust built up from what is seen. It's much like a human relationship. We don't trust much until a person has gained that trust from what is observed. The difference is though, God is not limited to human powers. He created us. Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. crossexamined.org/biblical-faith-vs-blind-faith/ www.truthortradition.com/articles/what-does-the-bible-say-about-faith www.revisedenglishversion.com/Appendix/16/Faith_is_Trust www.truthortradition.com/articles/faith-a-confident-expectation-of-gods-promises-coming-to-pass www.truthortradition.com/articles/hebrews-1-11-and-faith Hitchens always went into evasive word antics to avoid key questions like how we got the creation of the universe. Real science says nothing does nothing. Real science says if there was something there already it must fit with the evidence of what we know. We know the 1LT says there's a conservation of energy. It can change forms and neither can be created or destroyed. Creation cannot happen by natural means. The 2LT has various aspects, one being the universe is winding down, entropy. Usable energy is becoming less usable, so at one point usable energy was at its max. This all points to a supernatural creation, by a supernatural creator at a certain point in which matter, space, and time were created. When I read how it can happen otherwise, ALL the fools resort to science-fiction. Once a supernatural creation is accepted, then the next step is finding proof of what supernatural power did it. We can't even get science without God. The laws of nature only can come from a Lawgiver, God. Life only comes from life. Law of biogenesis. It has been said that what distinguishes the great is not so much IQ but their ability to recall and remember within context. Thus, the ability to show similarity as well as to make distinctions. That certainly describes Christopher Hitchens. The amazing consideration is the willingness of so many to accept so much less. I must say, one would be hard pressed to find a better clip than this to send someone who does not know of Christopher Hitchens. Or of the role of discourse too.

No, he was just a loser. Yet you can't prove the existence of your lord and savior. Yet you call Mr. Hitchens is a liar in your view. Your entire worthless existence is based on blind faith and the unknown. I am just as confident that there isn't a God, as you're in God. It can never be proven, yet you make enemies of people who don't swallow the unproven. A court of law exists solely on evidence and jot hearsay, I believe in evidence and you can't prove to me God exists.

What was declared illegal was the British handling of it. Hitchens's mum was not religious, so what does her suicide have to do with anything discussed in this video? It's a shame you lost someone you care about in that war, but you should blame the people who declared that war. I am prepared to debate you but only after you learn to speak like an adult. One aspect of the 2LofT shows that the universe is winding down, usable energy is becoming less usable. It is clear creation had to be done supernaturally yet it is still denied because people are just too proud to accept that, among other things.

@The Word Why can't you package your comments? Science is the proof, and if you've _ever_ flown anywhere, you've already accepted that. It has already predicted (using quantum theory) physical constants with incredible precision, and will continue to make such predictions into the far future. The only thing it cannot predict is what happened at or before the start of the universe. Religion, being made up by humans to explain the universe _when nothing else was known_ is just a bunch of lies. It doesn't matter which religion. And you are deluded. It's a real shame, but that's life. Either you work to discover reality (that's me) or you don't bother, and accept some two thousand year old horseshit (that's you). Good luck with that. You should relax and accept the fact you are a homosexual, in spirit, if not in deed. I've been happily married for fifty-two years, and I'm the grandfather of two beautiful grown-up grandchildren. You should be so lucky.

God is the reason for us and all we have. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fJ2B09yHj7y5iLg.html The odds are NOT there. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iWWTraePkabfkaQ.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/q4ttycOwqr2yo84.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/lpiV07WupNebkdo.html

A great interview where we get to know Hitch a little more personally. Tragic that he was diagnosed with terminal cancer after this interview, particularly as he expressed the wish to go on forever. Although he went from living his best life to dying his best death and through the legacy of his various media, he will in a sense live forever. Bravo Hitch......

I miss this man so much today. Christopher gifted many with insight, courage, and the patience to observe the world through a different lens - all while imbuing the future with curiosity. If he were here today, there is no doubt in my mind that he would act as a herald of knowledge and free speech, and adamantly condemn our fallacious descent toward Trump-era fascism, non-science, and racism. He left us too soon.
