How do you make your video's (what program / editing software do you use? do you use a script? what kind of capture device do you use to record your gameplay?). Love your video's!

Thanks for the support 👍 Editing Software: Sony Script: More like notes, but depends on the video. Capture device: Elgato HD
How are you not more popular?! You will be soon, i'm sure. Your presentation is fantastic, keep up the great work

Thank you.
Wow congrats for reaching the 1K Sir, really well deserved! Really love the nostalgia I get from your channel that reminds me the 7 years old me getting a PS2 for Christmas 2000 or lunch-breaks at school playing Halo 2 with my friends. Best of luck for the upcoming project :)

Thanks for the kind words 👍
Zone of the Enders 2 and MGS2 still look like magic to me, love that art style.
Nice to see my question featured. As you may have seen i am an huge Xbox fan, altough i did owned(and still do) a PS2 during the 6th gen, i feel in love with the Xbox so i was curious on that answer. Surprise to see you couldn't get into Elder Scrolls, Morrowind is one of the reason why i felt in love with the Xbox actually :P I love this franchise. And i especially liked when you mention modern gaming seem to not have much "intermediate" games. Its either AAA or indy. Altough there is a few IMO it greatly decreased and i miss that too. Thats why i guess i still play my 360, i have tons of intermediate (or as i call them AA games) that are just simple fun and quickly done. The kind of game you pop in, play the story mode for 8h and then move on. No grinding or gazillion side missions.

Something I’ve been thinking is that once you’ve collected most of the notable games for a system, you’re left with the ones you didn’t pay much attention to (such as the budget titles). You’ll occasionally find hidden gems in there, but you’ll have to look very hard to find them, usually through a large pile of mediocre to poor titles.

I'm happy to search through the bad games to find the good ones. Plus the bad games make great videos.
Thanks for the answers! Since I was just a kid in the 1990s I think that the 6th generation is my generation. PS2 was something else that really has a great library of games. I don't really play PS1 games today but some PS2 games I do. In addition I think that the single player industry is a bit out of fashion at the time because the big companies want to make money with multiplayer. It is a shame that some francises such as Hitman series has focused more on online gaming though great single player campaigns made them famous. On the other hand the indie scene is very prosperous and interesting.

Thanks for the question & the support 👍
Many thanks for answering my question. I do hold out hope that single player gaming does not die, but the industry seems to want to push online multiplayer more these days sadly, God of War and Spider Man recently gave me a glimpse of hope for good single player games. I also agree on the games you mentioned as examples. Singularity, Enslaved and Vanquish are all really good. I own all those titles and love them. :)

I'll continue to cross my fingers and hope for the same 🤞
Great video! Just to pile on one more question: while I have little problem going back to play games I played even as far back as the 80s, I have trouble getting used to older games that I don't have any experience with. Deus Ex, System Shock, Dead Rising, Jade Empire all come to mind as games that I'd known about for years, was excited to play for the first time, but then something hindered my enjoyment and I never got very far into them. Do you ever have a similar problem?

When playing older games, I generally accept that there is going to be a bit of a awkward phase at the start as I get use to things again, but after that I'm fine.
I ended up just buying a Samsung 19 inch HDTV to play ps1 and 2 games. It looks really good on a small screen. I played them on a of 4k tv and it's just bad or wont display .
Yeah I think the Xbox/Ps2 era was the best in gaming.

Agreed.
Awesome Q&A! Thanks for answering my question :D MGS1 is my fave game too, completely kickstarter my enjoyment of retro gaming when I tried it for the first time a few years back.

MGS1 was truly groundbreaking for me. If didn't play it, there's a good chance I'd be a very different person today.
Loved getting a bit more insight into your tastes. It's funny how our experiences are so similar yet completely different at the same time without realising it. I bet you are around the same age as me as you got the brick gameboy around when I did. Ahh the memories.
