Hey guys, editor Jay here. This video is an absolutely perfect example of why the mod team is trying so hard to prevent Pyro from being spoiled. Instead of reading about this mural on Wowhead and then seeing it later with a sort of lukewarm grunt of acknowledgment, we all got to see him absolutely lose his fucking mind in real-time. It's such a rare and special thing to see someone explode with passion and enthusiasm and it's why we're trying so hard to go against the grain of the WoW spoiler culture and keep him protected at all costs from having these moments ruined. I just want to thank everyone again who has participated in the community for doing such a great job keeping him spoiler-free, and I hope we can continue to do so up to release day!

The Aqir and the Klaxxi are the same race, just located in different areas. They explain this in game if you do the Klaxxi rep questline. They just followed different old gods so they look different and live in different areas on the planet.
I feel like MOP Remix is also meant for us to remember what happened in Panda Land because it relates to what is going to happen in The War Within.

I had that impression. MoP was really heavy on the lore. Definitely a reason to it.
The crest on the spider creatures head is exactly like the diadem Azshara wears in the Warbringer video. In BfA she gets those extra eyes, and this creature has the same ones, as well as the gem in a sort of diadem. So very much foreshadowing this is Azshara. The white bodice the creature wears also is remenicent of the white dress Azshara wears in the Warbringer. We've seen elves changed into similarly shaped creatures before in Legion with the Fal'dorei, who were refered to as spiders... a change brought on by wild magic? Also those two shapes to either side look like Xal'Atah's eyes, which remind me of the eclipsed moon. Like the one in Darkshore after the ritual, Elune's darkest phase. I can't believe such similar imagery wouldn't be done purposefully.

Seems more like Aquir over Klaxxi. There's an old in-game scroll/letter talking about how the Aquir wouldn't go into the "Godlands" (Ungoro) during the War of the Sands. Can't remember what it's called but makes more sense now with Elune Ahir

Yeah, they look like they'd be baseline Aqir, before the split and evolutions into Qiraji; Nerubians and Klaxxi.

Definitely a new Old God, Y'shaarj or some kind of a joint Old God being. By the way read about Ghroth from Lovecraft. Clearly an inspiration for Xalatath. 'Whenever Ghroth nears a planet, any dormant Great Old One or Outer God on the world will respond to its song and awaken, an act which almost invariably results in the destruction of the planet, the annihilation of all of its life, or both.'
@deadlymixx

Bro this exactly. Theory is called the harbinger and referred to as the maker as well. It also destroyed a planet that had insect people as its habitants. Even at the end of the video, it shows cracks forming in a planet which is what Ghroth is detailed to look like. It’s going to be dope to see how they adapt it to xalatath though.

I know you’ve probably heard many people over the years reference “The Ancient one” card from Hearthstone… that Miral… sure as shit looks just like the Ancient one. I know we can speculate all day, but when you have 2 of the blood of the ancient one, it merges and becomes the ancient one. Also! The blood of the ancient one has a very eerily similarity to the blood of G’huun. Take what you want from this, but I’m almost convinced that this Miral is of G’huun. Also, just incase you don’t want to look up the ancient one… yes, it looks like Cthylla.
I've been saying for a month straight that it's no coincidence we got Pandaria Remix. They WANTED to remind us of many things so we can connect the dots better!

Remix was a terrible way to do that seeing as its just a giant slugfest of how fast can i level alts. They arent doing anything to enhance the lore of MOP, had they brought the story forward in a better way then maybe i would agree with you. but lets be real, 99 percent of the player base doesnt know the story and dont care to learn about the story of WoW. They aren't reading the quest, they aren't looking at the art of the raids and dungeons they do, they aren't looking at NPCs All the wow playerbase cares about is doing everything that is release as fast as possible, getting geared on way to many alts, and complaining about blizzard.

@@endofexistence2149 They are not trying to enhance the lore of MOP. They are just giving story minded players a reminder of MOP story. You forget how the Dreadlords have managed to manipulate the void as well (likely through the ever living statues that whisper blatant lies).
the eyes in the background and Xalatath's eyes look like an lunar eclipse. Maybe her and Elune are two egos of one being, while Elune represent the side that is orderly and generally positive and Xalatath is trying to dominate and take control because she represents the opposite. I am getting some real Pisces zodiac sign similarities here, it's the 12th and FINAL zodiac sign. Pisces are compassionate, artistic, deeply emotional, especially empathic, at least a little bit psychic, and often inclined to throw themselves into caring for others at all costs, kinda sounds like the historical interpretation of Elune as a guide and mother figure when she was the sole dominant ego for Azeroth (if my thought's of them being two egos of azeroth fighting for power were assumed), but some of the negative traits seem similar too. Pisces struggle to face problems, escape by daydreaming, have difficulty making decisions, get overwhelmed by feelings, get lost in fantasies. It just reminds me of the Emerald dream, the entire lost in emotions that Tyrande had when she went all dark night mode.....just feeling there are some loose similarities that could have been in the thought process when envisioning their story, not based on it I mean. idk I'm just a casual listener of lore sometimes, but this was just a thought that hit me, I could be totally off base here.

The crown of light
It makes sense that Xal is an avatar of Elune. The aspect of the Night Warrior has a LOT of shadow influence built into it. Black and that rich deep blue. Xal is coming, but I think it's to restore the balance, not to claim what's left of Azeroth. I think Azeroth is supposed to be "shattered" into pieces of the major magic aspects and did so voluntarily, but Light and Order broke the pact. Probably Order broke it, and Light hates Void because it was infused with Order. Otherwise, it's just light and dark, ya know? I think the underground place where you can see the shard is built on the idea of Agartha, the Hollow Earth. Also ties in nicely with the Lovecraftian vibes this gives off. But yes, those are Klaxxi. They are bugs, so they are of Y'shaarj's brood. Makes sense that you see them on the bas relief of the Old God next to the big pink crystal, which looks amazingly like the stuff you see with all the Dranei. But that's Y'shaarj. Small eyes around the outside, there are seven eyes. Big one in the middle and two small ones beneath. And yeah, if you presume that what I think is true, then you will see every aspect of the rest of the major magic powers that isn't light and order being used as Xal's footsoldiers in the race to...do whatever Xal is planning.
I strongly feel Xal is the Blue Child. And I'm thinking Elune may have done something bad

Nah, Azshara is the blue child. There is a theory video out there about it and its getting more and more attention because it is incredibly logical. Xal can be many thing, but sadly for Pyro, she has nothing to do with Elune :/ ! Elune is in fact, the primordial energy of the light and the shadow, Azshara beeing her child is the person from the prophecy. I know it was "meh" but Legion nearly clarified that Elune was above Naaru (despite ppl thinking she was a Naaru). I love Pyro but sometimes he goes too deep and forget that those who write the lore, are a diverse team with noobies and veterans. Theory is cool, but since Vanilla we didn't get that much "incredible lore". It's fairly simple in fact.

@@sylphephilippe449 Respectfully disagree! Xal'Atath CLEARLY has something to do with Elune, she seems to oppose her, but no one knows for sure yet, Well see!
I think those entering old gods mouth are evolved nerubians, the slim ones we saw in trailer. Better question is why are there so many faceless ones sacrificing nerubians?
With all the mentions of Elune and joking about that Old God looking entity being Elune, I can't help but remember her 'power influence' (that we see on Tyrande when she's going at Sylvannas) is the same dark shade of blue that we see on those strange void elementals... INTERESTING...
There could be an eye behind one of the tentacles on the viewers right
Something I noticed is the old god seems to be looking directly at the sun like object, and kind of reaching it's tentacles out in its direction(?). The gold does look a bit draconic or maybe even a bit like the gold on Y'Shaarj tbh. Fades to darker/purple at the top of the sun looking thing so maybe it's just the crystals emitting light, and not the gold. The old god's form is kind of is unique too: Y'sh is serpentine, C'thun insect, N'z a squid, and Yogg almost an anglerfish looking thing, so no octopus yet maybe, although the top right drawing of the chronicles art seems to be more squid like, and leaf-ended tentacles is definitely way more squid. Edit: Noticed Y'shaarj has 9 eyes with the tiny ones on his face tentacles. Seems in the position that there is gold covering other tentacles right next to it. Maybe. Something has always seemed off about him in that image to me. He's dripped out a bit tbh. Did he do that? Lmao but honest question

the void drust looking thing at 9:15 almost has iridikron type features, minus the blue shit
Phazon, from Metroid. It's like the void here is behaving like that. And there's also another thing: it looks way closer to the moon than before, with the bright blue hue looking similar to the moonlight while the shadowy bits aren't so voidy.
4:06 looks very ny'alotha like 4:45 those are literally eyes at the background, eyes of Xal'Atah??
And what happened to N'zoth gift? could this be a transformation or fusion between xal with nzoth essence or something like that dunno.
I remember in one of your videos abt Atal'Dzar maybe where you saw two shrines that were defaced and it was the spider loa and one other but i can't remember. Great theory
Klaxxi make sense as they are supposed to be a sister kingdom to Nerubians, and also we just so happened to be given a prime opportunity to play through their story again in Remix, leading up to WW release
You were looking at those weird bugs and the background, really looked like roots to me. Possibly the roots of the old world tree.
I do believe Mantid and Nerubians are very similar. What I understand lore wise is Xal'atath ends up in the hands of the Trolls and convinces them K'Thrix a C'Thraxxi general corpse is a loa. They stab it, wake it up and it gathers up a horde of Aqir (The bugs) eventually K'Thrix loses but the Aqir who live go into hiding and evolved. One Group into Mantid, One into Nerubians and the others staying as they were such as the ones in Silithus. I do believe it was Nobel the Nobles story of Xal'atath if youd like a reference.
I speak for many wow fans when I say this: " Thank you for returning to wow Pyro." I really enjoy your content
@Pyromancer Is that crystal not the blade of Sargeras ?
N’Zoth turned night elves into Naga. What if we learn nerubians were once trolls that were transformed.
Hah, love your reactions, Pyro!
This old god is definitly the roots of Elun'Ahir feeding on the Eonar tears, which are the crystal.
Was the crystal the tip of the sword?
What if a Xal'ataths plan is to use the essences of the old gods to merge with Azeroths world soul, creating the void titan Az'atath. The name based on the outer god Azatoth in lovecraft, which coincidentally is depicted as a planet with tentacles and a gaping maw in the middle. That would be a neat twist :)
One thing about the void is that they tend to talk about the future. Maybe that wall is some kind of prophecy that the void will claim the crystal (Naru?) in Hallowfall and this will lead to them bringing back the 5th Old God. Maybe that crystal is some kind of prision? We saw a Naru being used as some kind of prision to Denatrhrius in shadowlands. This may justifie why they're trying to conquer it now.
Maybe it could be that devouring one mentioned on that old god timeline in Dragonflight that aparently consumed the other old gods on the timeline where the Old gods won
Aren't the standing ones the new neruber which ascended with the void
Even if in the Lovecraft mythos Cthylla is the daughter of Cthulhu (he is from green binary star name Xoth, also known Zoth where he lived before coming to Earth), maybe they borrowed from that too and will make Cthylla, secret daughter of N'zoth and will bring back N'zoth, same as Cthulhu used Cthylla in his plans, if he would die and here this is why N'zoth kept the blade and freed Xal'atath..

That's not Azshara: that's the Nerubian Queen Ansurek who will be the final boss of the first raid.
I think the humanoid Nerubians are probably the creation of Xalatath or maybe this new Queen. The strange monsters look like sha. That dwarven boss also have the aura, maybe they are related to him. Some kind of corruption. Probably it will be an instance. The big Old God looking creature maybe just a servant/part of an old god like Ilgynoth or just a generic old god picture. That gem like thing is maybe the crystal in the new zone.
What exactly can Eonar do if Aman'thule wont let her use her magic? What is the point of her. If Arcane is the only power he will allow to order things what are any of the titans doing?

What scares me............chatters not knowing that Nerubian's are in the new Xpac.
Pink crystal could be Naru similar to M'uru. 5th Old god may need energy from it in order to be awaken. Or, 5th Old god is already awaken and needs that pink crystal thing to gain power. If Blizzard is using the lore of Cthylla, once it gets the crystal, it may revive fallen old gods and start the second part of World Soul Saga, Midnight. We may see Y'Shaarj, N'Zoth, C'Thun, and Yogg-Saron, again.
I would be amazed if there was nothing related to the Blingtron War in The War Within.
Il'gynoth was a tree. What if Y'shaaraj was a tree and THAT was what Aman'thul ripped out? There is impetus for the old gods to have been trees, given their connection with the Emerald Dream and the Rift of Aln. Maybe the curse of flesh was given to us by Elune, (She gave it to the old gods after Aman'thul ripped out Y'shaaraj) Who then gave it to us?

I’m so happy pyro is finally talking about this I’ve wanted to bring it up on stream a lot but haven’t been sure if it’s considered a spoiler for pyro but glad I didn’t lol it’s just something about the old gods to me like they feel too strange and mysterious compared to the titans or other celestial beings it’s way easier to theorize and come up with a coherent story that makes sense about them in my opinion but with the old gods it’s feels to ambiguous and you really just feel like it’s actually you being played with and not just your character
underneath its rightmost eye looks like an empty eyesocket or closed eyelid
This old god is Y'Sarj, he is being fed aqir and the reason why i confidently say that is because of MOP Remix. Blizzard stated that it will be used as a way to prepare yourself for the new expansion, but what I think they are trying to do is remind you the story of Y'sarj as he will be the last boss of this expansion. Xal-Atath = Y'Sarj, he was never dead.
I might have missed it. But did we discuss why they are all walking up the stairs to self sacrifice into the mouth of the old god like being?
Does anyone else think the tree amonthul tore from the earth and the old god in pandaria are one in the same? There is even a world tree look alike where the mantis dwell. He did tear both from azeroth.
Cant you see the simularity for the 8 eyes on the murial with Y’shaarj both with same amount of eyes but then again im not into the lore that mush but think of it, and the crystal thing looks like the crystal in the sky
yeah Pyro water always flows down crazy huh
9/10 would bang! I always liked the Nerubians, glad they weren't wiped out!
The golden purple thing, is the cristal on hallowfall
100% Elun’ahir is Y’shraj in this story and we’ll learn that the higher powers have a lot more in common with one another.
So when I see the blue and black colors it makes me think of cosmic energy. If you look at current stuff the beacon of beyond does cosmic dmg and it's the same exact color
The small figures look like bird heads to me, so Arakkoa, not Klaxxi. Unfortunately Pyro wasn't looking at chat the several times viewers mentioned it.
There’s a big chance Azeroth is the first, GIGANTIC dragon AND the ultimate divine being. The dragons didn’t get so heavily involved in the lore again for no reason.
The moons behind the spider queen is Xal’s eyes
watching the vid and your speaking of the Klaxxi and I just started Dread Wastes in Remix.....
If its the roots of tree the eyes could be a lie it could just be implied to be eyes it could be crystalised tree sap from the tree being ripped apart.
dont know if someone else had said this but - klaxxi, nerubians and faceless ones all worshipped old gods in a sense. maybe the roots of the tree in the story you read have become alive due to the influence of eonar and as such may be classed as the 5th old god?
Don't forget that the Infinites are this same kind of black, light to dark blue energies, and white. Same color scheme as these void monsters, just on a dragon's scales. really makes you wonder
How many eyes do all the old gods put together have?
Well we are in a revisit to Mists of Pandaria. This could be a clue to what's coming in WW.
"She is not the last...she is the First...drown her and you will see" is that where the water is going?
thumbnails w/o spoilers would be awesome, ty.
HOW DID YOU NOT NOTICE?! Elun'Ahir page 5 18:03 "The Highfather took hold of the world tree's trunk and tore it from the earth" Does that not sound like ripping out Y'shaaraj? It sounds way too similar to be a coincidence Edit: maybe the first world treee was actually an old god or something along those lines
look like what the humans in KT water sages turn into in BFA
We know that WoW history is written from different perspectives, right? Titan perspective: Aman'thul rips Y'shaarj from the world, leaving a gaping wound. Dragon(?) perspective: Aman'thul rips world tree from the world, leaving a gaping wound ... Wait a minute .......... ............ so while it COULD be that Aman'thul just likes ripping things, maybe there's a duplicity going on here. Maybe we're being fed the same story through vastly different lenses. Maybe the cosmic conspiracy is as much related to the choice of perspective of the story we're told as much as something else??
I guess we know why it's called "The Maw" now.
Kinda interesting if they chose MOP for the remix content just to get new people up to speed on the Klaxxi with the raids and dread wastes and stuff
if u look at Xal'ataths eyes it does look like a eclipse of a moon like elune or like a druids eclipse
I don't know but somehow that gold violet thing looks like the void/light crystal but it's just too big or then 5th old gos Is biggest one😅
Well maybe thats why we have Pandaria remix with all the Klaxxi stuff.
The elementals could be a mixture of the powers of Iridikron and Xal. His earth incarnate powers could be turned to shadow with the dark heart.
man i hope i get to see my Klaxxi bros again.
